as a minion player does Mercenaries count as our minion too ? I mean will they affect any minion increase damage or healt skill passives ?
Is Catarina's exclusive veiled modifier(+2 to socketed support gems) still obtainable from Betrayal? Or has it been removed from the game now that she no longer drops veiled rare items?

The path note indicates that "Splitting Steel of Ammunition: Projectiles can no longer return. Now has 120-387% Effectiveness of Base and Added Damage at gem levels 1-20 (previously 120-330%), and now has a base Radius of 0.8-1.2 metres at gem levels 1-20 (previously 0.6-1).” although its current range is actually higher(1.2–1.6). Is this a mistype or will the skill range be reduced ?
Can we get a Crafting bench in Kingsmarch, Or a Recombinator to put in a Hideout?
It would be awesome QOL for Recombinator crafting, since you have to go to Crafting bench to put some of the meta crafts (Suffixes cannot be changed, etc.).
Some good stuff here but tier four rewards being gone from beating Catarina, while understandable, is a disappointment as now the only reason to kill her are her items and orbs, neither which are that big of a bounty if one doesn't care about any of it.

Can Mercenaries use items with influenced trigger skills (like Shaper weapons with Cast on Crit)?

Short answer - No.

Longer answer - Mercenary Skills are not socketed into gear in the way that player skills are. They are inherent to the Mercenary rather than being the result of a socketed gem, so in the case of something like a Cast on Crit weapon, it would be hard to determine what skill should even be triggered - or indeed, do the triggering.


That doesn't answer the question of granted item skills and not skill/support gems. Certain item conditions require for the skill to be gained before they can activate, i.e. Corpsewalker boots.

The way this reads is that specifically triggers won't work because they might have their own triggers, which just follows the current trigger mechanic rules where multiple triggers will disable the skill because only ever 1 trigger condition may apply. And perhaps because they aren't coded to check for "supported by X".

From how I read this, it means that Mercenaries work differently from Animated Guardian and could potentially use item granted skills.

My assumption thus far was that they have fixed skills and cannot gain new skills. Which would mean that something like Corpsewalker can be equipped, but the Mercenary cannot gain Corpse Walk and thus cannot spawn corpses while walking.

Is that correct? Could you please clarify?
