Was nice to occasionally make a sale a few times a league. Gonna miss it. Not looking forward to the complete and total economic collapse in the new league on the Monday afternoon after it drops.

this social experiment will be entertaining af. my prediction is that trade will be 'dead' within 4 days of league start. and price fixers will fill thier h/o with max player count to prevent purchases from going through or simply use some API workarounds. so glad i wont have to deal with it lol

Not sure price fixing will be worth the effort with it being asynchronous and offline. About to 4x the supply side of the market and cause massive item inflation/price deflation.

My long term prediction is the offline component won't be sticking around or will be heavily limited.

it is extremely profitable if you can price fix/spoof anything in an instant b/o environment. so if they don't address the issue of 'max players in h/o' we will see very interesting developments here
The biggest issue that I see for myself, is that I will need to transfer my stash tabs, stash tabs that I always used for both trade and to store items. We should be able to move them around freely depending on our needs.

First, this is probably already solved. GGG had to make this work for offline player's HOs and so my guess is that when a person clicks secure it just portals them a 'trade' instance of that HO.

Second, you're worrying about something that has a solution. I'm talking about something that isn't a bug or an abuse. It's just the economic reality of asynchronous offline trade. And I'm being extremely generous with saying 4x the supply. It's probably going to be more than 10x or worst.

Sometimes improvements have negative consequences. This is new for POE and there are many unknowns. It’s good that this is being released during early access.
Best change ever done in this game. The worse experience was having to sift through the trade site to do trades and then when you sell items having to leave your map or boss or whatever each time.
