Just viewed the video update. Here's the thing; Settler's is really good! By far the best league ever!! I don't know what is going on with POE II, sounds pretty bad, but it's a beta version 1???(what do you guys expect??) It is probably going to take many, many, many months to even come close to POE 1 (play style/value). Oh well,,sh*t happens,, take the time and resources to fix it. However, don't forget about the bread and butter(POE1) that allows you to work on the expansion/{new game}POEII. I guess this is already obvious, but just incase, Kingsmarch is critical to the future of POE1!! It's potential has barely scratched the surface!!! Please think long and hard about Kingsmarch moving forward. I don't really mind the delay......I might actually get to lvl 100 this league... lol..... |

Chris Wilson was right about the dangers of launching poe2 as a separate game and ditching all the content y'all had built in poe1 over the years. |

Appreciate the communication, though yes it would have been nice to know sooner. Mind you I am a poe2 only player now as in my opinion poe2 has fixed the main issues I had with poe1. That all being said Poe1 still deserves some love and it would be very good to give the people whom have been waiting for months something to sink their teeth into.

I think they should made this hard decision to axe PoE1 support and let it just be, instead of trying to keep two project afloat at once if you don't have enough resorces to do it.

It took you guys three months to notify us of something you apparently knew all along. That's the main issue here.
While people were checking the forums and hoping for new information on the league, you stayed silent. What a freaking mess. |

" Hate to say it but POE2 is just bad my dude. It isn't a "work the kinks out" thing. They have straight up watered POE1 down, added wild amounts of "horsing" to the game. It's like a walking simulator with no crafting. It is a design philosophy thing where they couldn't figure out how to make leagues last longer without just making them suck. |

A choice has been made. A choice between well established player base of PoE1, which didn't all like PoE2, let's say the least.
A choice has been made to keep pushing PoE2 despite obviously frustrating a big chunk of your playerbase, your loyal players who were with you for years and years. And delaying PoE1 update even further. A choice has been made to sunken cost fallacy, if you ask me, that will cost you a lot of loyal players, me included. This was very obviously going to happen and all your customers called it in advance.
How can you ever say "I should have known taking devs off PoE1 would hurt PoE1"? It's like saying "I should have known water would be wet when I dropped my phone in it on purpose." Shouldn't you resign at that point if you can't predict the most basic of consequences for your decisions? |
