I would like a refund of my unused points or I would like you to transfer them over to PoE2.

I find it funny how this post tittled " a message to Path of Exile 1 players". GGG that's the entirety of your community until couple months ago. Yet you choose to let it down with delays upon delays. I sure would have hoped to see more attention to the community that supported you for all those years. It has been a good ride I suppose ...

I really do not care how transparent you are since it has no point at all. I do not care to hear how you failed to manage development of your games. Poe1 should not have suffered for the sake of Poe2. |

" they set the expectations bro "poe2 won't impact poe1" "there will be an announcement for a new league at the end of january" "nobody could have expected pulling staff off of poe1 for 6 months would negatively impact poe1" they're just straight lying to us now. they knew 3.26 was going to be delayed when they were asked about it earlier this month and they just lied |

Just give us Affliction back seriously

" No. You don't get to call people trash. He was dishonest. That deserves admonishment. They deserve all of the flak they are getting. They are not a small company dude. 52 million USD a year in revenue, 83 Million NZD. That is not a small company by any standard. |

" bro points are the same for both games |

I'm not sure what to say, I mean, the honesty is great.

BUT it certainly does sting that there isn't a date posted as of right now and we are just being told to wait, it sucks that the ambition from the Devs lead them to this complete mess. I'm enjoying the heck out of PoE2 as much as I've enjoyed PoE1 so far. Although all things considered, you guys are doing a great job from dealing with people doing dupes in PoE2 while also solving all the background issues most players aren't familiar with. Best of luck, and I hope for a strong future. |

Eh, it is what it is.

Necro-Settlers was a nice side project. Maybe launch Affliction-Settlers now? With Affliction ascendancy trees brought back and the TWWT jewel of course? |

GGG and Jonathan, I watched the video. The more I listened, the louder the music got...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2595abcvh2M&t=33s What you have achieved with PoE 1 as a new studio taking on an established behemoth as well as other notable start ups to become the best ARPG (my opinion, of course) of this and the previous decade is beyond epic, its legendary. Yet your lust for PoE 2 greatness seems to have made you forget certain fundamental GGG keys to success: incremental releases, which you call leagues, where you introduce a relatively small amount of "new" to complement a whole heck of a lot of "proven good and great". Perhaps consider treating PoE EA versions 0.1 to 0.2 (or whatever) as a "league" in that it is available for X weeks. Give those who participate and achieve level 50, 70 and 90 some cool MTX reward(s) for play testing that will never be available again, so these MTX have real value to the play testers. Then release your next PoE 1 league. While a relatively small contingent of your team is supporting the new PoE 1 League, shut down access to PoE 2 so you can go away and make it incrementally (or significantly) better than last time. Rinse and repeat all the way GA. You are paving over your PoE 1 paradise with expectation setting and software development mistakes that are, to be candid, beneath you. You don't need to go faster, you should tred smarter. PoE 2 will take much longer than you think to be "GGG GA Ready" because its is ambitious and because you set the bar high - very high - with PoE 1. As much I as admire you guys, I find it hard to believe this is "news" to you. However much time you think you need now, it will take longer - likely much longer. Expect this! Be surprised if it is not the case. Plan for this reality (you are all human!) Manage our expectations smarter and you won't have to think about what you had when its gone. If you had set expectations better, your customers would be happy with "PoE 2 EA League 0.1 to 0.2" and excited about the next PoE 2 EA and PoE 1 leagues. I hope you make good choices going forward. I like your game more than you think you know and love watching you succeed. All the best to you! Last edited by Eggar#2576 on Jan 29, 2025, 11:48:46 PM
