Audio Issues on PS5 - Cracking Sound Effects

same for me. audio just stutters until i close game and come back. but then about 10 min into mapping it happens again. I'm on ps5

Same for me, playing on my PS5 with a Headset connected.

Doesn't matter if it is a wireless Headset or a Headset directly plugged into the controller.
The Sound of my skills triggers this especcially on Abyssal fissures.

Makes the game unplayable for me tbh, it happens nearly twice EVERY MAP and i need to restart the whole Game to get rid of it. Came to Maps today and its absolutly annoying.

Both my friend and I have been experiencing this issue since 0,3.
Horrible sound effects particularly with abyss monsters.
Friend is using lightning rod lightning arrow and I am using essence drain contagion

We have found a solution however while we wait for GGG to fix, and that is to reduce the “ambient sound volume” to 0

For me this problem started 10 minutes ago and turning Ambient Sound down makes no difference :(
Playing on PS5 Pro if that matters.

GGG fix this ASAP please. My ears are hurting and this sound can't be good for anyone's hearing to be honest.


I think it has something to do with the vibration driver for the PS5, after I got that screeching sound the vibration in my Dualsense is totally gone. And as the PS5 controller uses sound to makes the "rumble" it seems they are connected.

Any solution?

play on ps5 got sound problem too, tested with Living Lightning = sound buzzing

Ggg going to take months to fix this just like it took months for the Hideout music player to be available even when purchased on console. If they can’t fix a paid micro transaction in a reasonable amount of time I imagine that this game breaking, speaker destroying glitch to be here for a couple more months. Been playing muted this whole season with already over 2 days 12hrs in game. Truly brutal.
