Audio Issues on PS5 - Cracking Sound Effects

Having the same issue. Was not appearing at the fog island, but it's heavily at play in the abandoned prison for me.

bump It straight up sounds like a blender to the point i had to turn sound effects completely off.

It seems to happen when:
1. A large number of effects are present on the screen. 2. A fire effect is present. Firewall, the abyss glow, etc... |

I'm having a problem with the sound in Po2, I'm playing on ps5, I started at the final boss of act 2, now that I'm in act 3 the annoying buzzing sound is all the time when I attack some monster in the game, please developer, fix this, thank you!

Same for me! Please GGG fix this! Until that how do you guys handle this Problem? Turning Sound Effects off is quite bad 😑

I'm same issue when at the very start of act 3 fighting mobs on ps5 audio goes to shit. I cant progress without any sound.

I am experiencing this issue as well on my Witch when using Contagion and Essence Drain. It's easily reproducible with these two skills. The Abyss event also sounds terrible. I have rerolled ranger just to avoid this issue. I don't know if linking to my own youtube video is allowed, but here is a quick clip recorded from my PS5 Pro where the sound issue can be heard as contagion and essence drain are used.
https://youtu.be/1ta95ICyC_c One of the first replies was very explicit about their entire hardware setup, but this recording from the PlayStation recording system would seem to show it's an issue before it gets to any specific setup outside the console itself. I think it's more likely the sound channel handle is not closing, looping endlessly, or maybe even OS level locks on the sound file lasting longer than PC, and causing unexpected issues between the two code bases. I hope a dev sees this thread. It truly makes the game an unenjoyable mess. |

Most annoying glitch I have ever seen...sorry heard in my life. It seems to happen most commonly around the abyss. It also happens randomly but less often. Literally all of my friends on PS5 have the same issue.
Somebody said turn off the ambient sound option? I have not tested. Need to get some sleep! |
