Mac Client - PoE Repeat Crashing - Macbook Pro M4 Max

"
Yesterday i could play standalone mac native, i could trick around all the problems, allow in system security and throw to trash several times and... got it to work, but today after the patch i cannot.

I did the same, but after today patch it doesnt work, so you can do by this way from my prev message
I can confirm that whatever was included in the latest patch and not properly documented broke the workaround that I was using as well (remove the content.ggpk to force it to repatch instead of just ignoring that an update existed) as it is now once again complaining that it needs an update but makes no effort to get one, at this point its not clear if its not getting the patch or if someone screwed up the identifiers and its looking for a patch that doesn't exist, either way the near total lack of communication and seemingly inextant efforts towards resolving this issue is exceedingly demoralizing.
Guys I found the solution and it works every single time, basically you have to do this whenever POE has an update

Im using standalone version, not quite sure about steam but should work in the same way

1. Go to spotlight (that thing to locate your file), and look for "application support", and then "Pathofexile"
2. Inside the folder you will see "update.dat", copy a new one and then rename it to "update.zip" and then extract it.
3. You will get a new pathofexile (file type: application) which has been renamed as "Path of Exile 2", delete the old one and the rename this "Path of Exile 2" to "Path of Exile". Right click it and then click show package content
4. Click into "contents" and then "MacOS" you will see "pathofexile" (file type: unix executable file)
5. Now open "Terminal", (before that remeber to give "terminal" full permission to change anything on your Mac), copy this command "sudo xattr -cr" (without ""), and then drag your "pathofexile" (file type: unix executable file) into terminal, click enter.
6. Afterwards copy this command "sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - " (without ""), and the again drag your"pathofexile" (file type: unix executable file) into terminal, click enter.
7. Click your "pathofexile" (file type: unix executable file) to play !

I was not able to play two days ago until I found out this solution, I can tell GGG has updates within these two days because whenever it has a update you have to do this all over again. But thank god it works every time.

I am using M2 Mac Studio btw, cheers and have fun!

I used this solution to play for the past two days, up until 9 hours ago. Now it says the file is damaged... So I repeated the process, this allows me to get to login screen. But I cannot login. It says "There's been a patch. Restart Path of Exile" every time.
yeah ok same for me...
this bug has been fixed and unfixed by last patch :/
I did this and is working:

cd "/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Path of Exile"

cp update.dat update.zip
unzip update.zip

cp -R "Path Of Exile.app" "/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Path of Exile"

sudo xattr -cr "/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Path of Exile/PathOfExileClient.app"

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - "/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Path of Exile/PathOfExileClient.app"

"/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Path of Exile/Path Of Exile.app/Contents/MacOS/Path of Exile"

With this, I can launch the app but still run into "There has been a patch that you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile"
I follow some solutions and can play until 7-8 hours ago but now can't play (standalone) here's my problem

open application file in application support/path of exile and then file crash and force me to move it to trash
ggg please
fix mac client
i play around 1300 hour on steam client at mac and now its just broken and all prev workaround don't work(
