Crash to desktop with no error in Act 4, right after fighting Piety

And again same place, just killed piety went through the door to where the recipe is clicked it and it had already learned it. went to go to next door which may be the exit and the game stuttered and crashed to desktop again.

Killed piety went through door and bam crashed again. i cant progress any further.

All drivers up to date and latest windows 11 updates installed, also its a clean fresh install about 2 weeks ago.

NVME drives and SSDs

To anyone crashing after killing piety and going through the door i have a work around.

Kill piety and teleport out to town
now you can teleport back and continue as normal

I have started doing this too, it's not just Piety that's causing me to crash, it appears to be most of the Unique Bosses, mainly the ones that make something happen, like unlock the next area or cause Sin to land and unlock a Pantheon. As soon as they die I open a portal and use it.

yes just had Sin land and game crashed to desktop as you say, will have to tp out of those situations as well now :)

Fixed now in todays patch

Crash, crash, crash, crash ....
Act 1 crashes non-stop now.

What is up GGG ?!

No clue why but running the game as Administrator fixed the crashes for me.

It's actually even worse than before now.

I am unable to create a new character at all. When I press on the create button it just freezes. Sometimes I get to the loading screen to access the beach and the cogs just stop spinning and I have to exit the game manually.

I managed once out of my 10 tries to access the beach and kill Hillock. Right after I killed him the game just froze without any error message.

its likely your hardware/software messing things up

Intel cpus had issues, nvidia gpu drivers had issues and not sure if nvidia fixed that

I got no issues at all after the patch.
