Crash to desktop with no error in Act 4, right after fighting Piety

It kept occuring last night constantly in act 6 in the same spot, right after activating a movable switch at the end of the Beacon. Now it's happened twice after exiting the room where you fight Piety.

This is also happening to another user.


Computer specs:
AMD CPU R5 3600x.
RTX 2070 Super.
Corsair 3600 mhz RAM.

Renderer: Vulcan. Though I've tried with all 3.
Triple buffering and Multithreading are both on.

Estou tendo o mesmo problema, meu amigo também está "acc: ElMagista", após matar Pyet na Belly of the Beast, o jogo crasha e é fechado automaticamente.

Estou no SSF - HC NECROPOLIS.
Notei que o erro está ocorrendo desde ontem dia 19/07/2024 das 18:10.
Hoje pela manhã, tentei novamente e o erro ainda ocorre.

Same here hopefully they fix it soon!

Acabei de testar com um outro personagem no HC, lv 72.
Testei também com um SC lv57.
É matar a Piety e o jogo crachar sem dar nenhum erro.

Ou seja, está ocorrendo em qualquer liga com qualquer level de personagem, no mesmo local. matar Piety e crash!

I just tested with another character in HC, lv 72.

Kill Piety and the game will break, no error mensagen.

In other words, it is taking place in any league with any character level, in the same location. kill Piety and crash!

Hi! same issue here with diferent specs.

After killing Piety adn trying to move to next area game crashes without any error or windows event log entry.

Found a temporary solution, after killing Piety, talk to her and open a portal, go to city and back to the area using the portal then proceed normaly.

Need to test this solution with other areas.

Mate a Piety, use um TP vá pra cidade e volte, e siga o caminho. ai o jogo não cracha.

game is still crashing randomly no error message even after piety. its getting very annoying

Have the exact same issue with the game crashing to desktop after the fight with Piety in Act 4. I cleared the cache several times, used the PoE repair function and in the end reinstalled the game clean today. Nothing helped, same problem still. I am not able to progress the game further. I will try the tp trick.

EDIT: The TP to town trick just after fighting Piety worked for me! Thanks to whoever suggested it. However I did also notice random crashes earlier in the campaign but those didn't seem to persist. Let's see how it goes.
