Steam isn't patching, same issue


Step 1. Start game

Step 2. Client is still 3.24.1

Step 3. Login

Step 4. Receive message: There has been a patch you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile.

Step 5. Restart game

Step 6. Steam validates all the files

Step 7. Return to Step 1

Yep, seems to be an infinite loop. My guess is that the patch update number is not matching the launcher, so it thinks there is another patch and keeps loading the same patch over and over (and over and over). I am up to 10 updates.

Anyone try reinstalling the game?

can anybody update if the standalone pc launcher is working?
