Updating on Steam is impossible. Start PoE, tells you that you need an update. Great.
Go back to steam, it says it's "downloading content" and then launches PoE automatically when it's "finished." But you get to the login screen and it's still patch 3.24.1. You click login and repeat step 2. Fix your game. |

Big question here.
Almost everyone knows about Steam Maintenance Tuesday. At least the ones that play Valve Games. But for sure most game developers know about this thing right, a Steam patch every tuesday, you know the drill. Why in hell would you patch your game the exact same day as the platform where most players play from? This is a geniune question, as I don't understand how a game devolping company with more than 10 years in the field makes this mistake. Not even indie small companies make this mistake, are desperate or something? |

" Steam is not "down" Steam is doing their stupid Tuesday maintenance during US primetime. Makes getting any updates impossible. And whoever makes decisions at GGG didn't pay attention |

" Usually anywhere from 5-15 minutes. It's back up again - but GGG pushed the patch just as Steam started their maintenance, so something went wrong (obviously). Not a brilliant move from GGG - it's not like they wouldn't know that Steam does maintenance at this time. They've only been doing that a bit over a decade now. lol They really should have just waited 30-60 minutes, before pushing the patch. |
