[3.28] Herald of Agernaut - Perfect first build - Tanky AF and 10/10 Uber Down
" For my version of a Herald of Agony build Empower support doesn't outperform other supports. I checked my lvl 100 Mageblood PoB and even if I could afford the exorbitant cost of an Awakened Empower level 5 (minimum 1000 Divine Orbs according to PoE ninja stats)... my level 5/20 Awakened Added Fire support still provides more damage at a cost of 2-3 Divine Orbs. In fact the Empower 5 only just outperforms my 21/20 Damage on Full Life according to PoB numbers... the damage diff is so insignificant it's not worth consideration. I'm not much of a crafter sorry and 90% of the stuff I wear is bought from Trade. However I don't mind crafting the Cluster jewels, especially now that regal orbs and exalted orbs are more common. I just alteration spam til I find 'Pure Agony' or 'Minions have 3% increased Attack and Cast Speed' then Augment/Regal/Exalt then Scour if it sucks or celebrate if it's decent. Prolly better ways out there to get the Cluster results you desire... but if there's nothing in Trade or it's overpriced - this method will get you a decent Cluster for 1 - 2 Divine worth of currency. Anyways I'm looking forward to getting wrecked in Ziz Gauntlet in a few days. Love this bloody game! "The key to winning any fight is simply staying alive."

" Yep. Get SRS Gem from a Witch. Stash SRS for our Marauder to use. Slow and steady, overlevel/overgear til Library. Then stop, farm and transition to Herald of Agony. They're a bit of a pain to get - rare spawn in T16s - but fairly common in Nightmare Maps. Some other good options are: Molten Chimeral Beast 410% life - Nightmare Maps (I prolly should be using these - I only found these answering your Q) https://poedb.tw/us/Molten_Chimeral Primal Crushclaw Beast 360% life - Harvest - They're melee but they have a fast roll skill so they proc feeding frenzy even from distance fairly consistently. https://poedb.tw/us/Primal_Crushclaw#PrimalCrushclawHarvestNessaCrabT3Spectre Perfect Turtle Beast 450% life - Ritual/Map Farmers/Trade - So I don't use this cos it's super slow/melee so rarely procs feeding frenzy AND my Determination Aura is stronger than its. This Gorilla is awesome for giving us Frenzy Charges... but the 240% life is a bit sketchy later and it's melee... I should test it some more cos Frenzy charges is big damage. I've assumed it will die in Ubers. https://poedb.tw/us/Carnage_Chieftain Perfect Forest Tiger Beast 180% life - Ritual/Map Farmers/Trade - This is the dream Spectre but how to keep it alive VS difficult content??? Gives Haste Aura and Frenzy charges to allies on hit.
