Slowly (for me) the build shown his real power.

@Chronic_Painless: u said if we get a lvl 5 awak cold gem, we could swap out Frost Bomb. Till i have the feeling that frost bomb is my best damage dealer. Maybe iam doing sthg wrong.

My strategy till now:

- try to maintain 10 Blades
- chield charge into packs
- activate flasks
- frequently frost bomb

Is this right?

------

What can we do with the remaining sockel slots. i have some over :D

What phase of the build are you in? Frostbomb should stop being the main killer once you swap to BV in act 6. We only really use it for the cold exposure debuff at that point.

As for strategy, maintaining 10 blades is key, but you'll need to use shield charge AND either flame dash or frostblink. If you try to shield charge at a pack of ranged monsters and are a little too slow, you'll get shotgunned down, so make sure to blink/dash as a gap closer in those situations.

Frost bomb is mainly reserved for really dangerous rares and map bosses when we want an extra damage boost (from the exposure, the actual bomb damage is negligible).

The extra sockets are where a CWDT setup can go in the later stages, but I'm not sure where you are in the evolution.

I swap to occultist and iam now at lvl97.

Biggest problem is to get more than 40% spell suppression.

Therefore my first aim is to reach 100% spell suppression.

---------------

For damage scaling, what is best?

1. crit multi
2. gem level
3. add phys to spell

Maybe my shield is the first piece to change for damage increase....?

Gem levels are always best, then power charges, then aura effect, then crit multi. Add phys to spell is not very useful at all.

You could definitely get a +1 phys shield and see a large damage increase, and can probably afford a better weapon too. You still have three pieces of gear to get suppression on, so you should be fine there soon.
Any good Invocation to use on your relic for this build? We can't see what's being used by POE ninja builds for relics can we? I guess Iron Will, Iron Reflexes, or Magebane.

Magebane and Iron will for sure, Iron Reflexes I'm not 100% sold on because I don't know how badly losing the tiny bit of evasion we do get from going hybrid armour/evasion pieces for spell suppression sake would hurt.

Vaal Pact is good for the Occultist since she lacks regen.

Lethe Shade could probably be beneficial as well.

I'm using Pain Attunement at the moment in my no-hit-sanctum loadout, and people have definitely found ways to make LL work with this build as a foundation, but I haven't explored them myself.
I was wondering about your thoughts on Anomalous Hatred? It seems like divergent is kind of waste like you mention (unless farming chilled ground maps) and obviously the aoe on normal superior hatred is pretty useless if I'm playing solo, so would the extra freeze duration from anomalous be a good replacement?

Definitely wouldn't hurt, but depends on the price. If it was as expensive as other alt-qualities I'd probably invest in those first, but if it's cheap and you feel like you occasionally aren't freezing beefy rares then it's worth it for sure.

Hello..

If been following your PoB but I'm currently having problems with equips under 1-5div budget as I can't find some stuff in standard trade. I'm currently transitioning to arm/evd gears with spell suppress.. I have the armor ready but yet to 6L and color it right to use it.. here is my PoB.

Edit: What do you suggets I remove to fit in vaal molten shell and CWDT?

You don't need both Frostblink and Flamedash, but I'd consider giving shield charge a try if you haven't yet.

You can also drop Unbound Ailments Support since it's mostly a luxury. Drop Onslaught Support and grab a Silver Flask as well, you can ditch the Basalt or the Jade.

I'd definitely recommend getting some brittle boots and building out your crit/damage more before going heavily into defense though.

Thanks.. already got the brittle boots. I also remove some passive skills from the left part to additional curse so I can use sins mark.

This build absolutely rocks.

I am at the point, that i dont really know how to upgrade.
Anyone can help? Char Sancsuhn

On the side:
Any reason why in POB you skill 5% Life/Energyshield and not Profane Chemistry through Impossible Escape?

I think a couple points got misplaced on that tree after the patch, but basically you'd need those points if you wanted to get to the spell suppression wheel for that last few percent, but otherwise Profane Chemistry is def better.
Hey,

first of all thanks for the amazing guide. I was playing only minion builds up to this point but now I probably wont go back. It is a lot of fun to jump from pack to pack.

I just hit T16 maps and start to run in some issues though. It seeems like my damage and therefore my survivability start to fall of. I am still an Elementalist and was wondering if someone of you can take a look and give me some hints what to do:

Here is my PoB: https://pastebin.com/h450PJCZ

My budget is really low. I think I lack some chaos res but apart from that I am not really sure where to go. I guess my crit chance is low but I do not know how to improve that.

Cheers!

Glad to hear it!

Your crit chance actually isn't as bad as you think, so long as you're applying brittle ground to the enemy. Check the very bottom of the notes section of the POB guide for tips on configurations.

You're experiencing what a lot of people have run into, which I've come to call the "awkward teenage years" of the build, where you go from absolutely crushing everything without slowing down to suddenly feeling like there's an occasional challenge. I talk about the best ways to get through it in this video here: https://youtu.be/8Ney28z3T8Y?t=172

Overall it looks like you're in a good spot, and you'll be back to feeling overpowered before you know it.
