3.23 EXPLOSIVE ARROW BALLISTA ELEMENTALIST - League-Start to End-Game. Easy mode.
" I'm using a POB freshly pulled from your account: https://pastebin.com/eTHzVceV Your key stats are now: Attack Rate: 2.40 EA Duration: 1.32s Fuses: 19 Accuracy: 100% (even without Ice Golem) Ignite DPS (mapping, with Flammability on hit): 20.3M Ignite DPS with Combustion, Convergence, Flammability: 28.5M Life: 3,412 Ele Res, Chaos Res: 75/75/75/11 Armour (%PDR): 21,749 (83%) with max end. charges + eCry Evasion (%chance): 28,802 (77%) 1. 69% increased life. For now, you might be holding out on Purity of Flesh and Profane Chemistry until you get to level 100, and if that's the case, it's fine. With both of these allocated, you jump to 99% increased life, and reach 3,957 life. 2. Blizzard Crown. Good upgrade, and time for some labs if you're keeping this. I noticed that it's 9% off fire resistance, instead of the elevated 12%. This is rather strange, since most people who awaken Blizzard crowns will always do it with double elevated mods. 3. Eldritch implicits on chest. Grace aura is good upgrade, since this implicit alone gave you more than 18% increased evasion rating (3% evade chance). Power charge implicit is useless, but you're probably still working on this so we won't go further. 4. Gloves. You've chosen to go with Ignite Prolif on gem support and opted for "+(5-7)% to Fire Damage over Time Multiplier" instead. For comparison, if i swapped this to ignite implicit and replaced prolif with awakened Deadly Ailments (5/20) on your main EA links, your damage changes leaps ahead by 23.8%. This huge difference is because IgProlif (20/20) is doing double duty and hence only gives 25% MORE damage (and 10% inc. fire); while Deadly Ailments (5/20) boosts us with 55% MORE damage (and the same 10% inc. DoT). The downside on Deadly Ailments is nothing to us since we don't depend on the arrow's hit damage. 5. Lethal Pride. Yours gives 12% Totem Placement speed, 10% faster ignites, and 20% burning damage. This is fine for now, but there's a lot of room for better ones. 6. DPS. With the upgrade in point (4), your Ignite DPS with all buffs becomes 34.8M since your fuse count is still at 19. Work towards getting more attack speed so you can get to 20 fuses. At 1.32s skill duration, you're aiming for 2.53 attack rate. At 20 fuses, you'll reach the ignite cap on bosses. 7. Flame Surge. This is a skill, and most of EA players use it. Like Combustion, we only use this on bosses. The easiest way is linking this to an Arcanist Brand, and when triggered, it casts burning ground under the ignited boss. This burning ground does significant damage, and doesn't get grouped within EA's ignite, so it's great extra DPS. You can easily swap out your golem for this gem, since golems often die when we need them most and are awful to resummon. In fact, your golem doesn't do anything for you at all since you're at 100% accuracy. 8. Enduring Cry. It's nice to have, but I certainly hope you have Call to Arms allocated in your relic. Otherwise, your mapping experience would be interrupted so often with long pauses for the warcry's animation. As much as I'd love to cast eCry while bossing to be extra tanky, stopping to cast like this would probably be more risky than just running rounds. Also, the extra PDR per endurance charge from Enduring Cry is nice, but lasts only 2s. Still, it's good to be getting 4 end. charges while mapping since you've got Enduring Composure on your cluster.
would anyone mind to have a look at my character?
https://pastebin.com/ikydH3M9 just want some advice what to upgrade first from here feels a bit squishy
" Hey mate, Your pastebin didn't work but I checked your character on POE. Basically, you could upgrade every piece of gear as what you have is pretty basic at the moment. If being squishy is your issue, then I would do the following: - Don't run Blood Rage - Run Purity of Elements (remove Grace if you need to) - Remove HH - it's not the best for this build. Just use the good old Dyadian Dawn. Or if you have a Mageblood, use that instead and get defensive flasks to go with it. - Change your helm. Blizzard Crown is good if you have stats like Nearby enemies have -9% fire res... otherwise you can get a cheap helm like this which does far more for you: It's on par with damage because of the 40% inc burbing damage implicit, but you also get other juicy stats like dex, high evasion, chaos resistance, movespeed, attack speed etc. This helm is a secret Best in Slot helm that no one really knows about until you get a properly crafted Blizzard Crown. I just started league 2 days ago and picked this one up for 1c. - Get more spell suppression on gloves/boots. Atziri's Step, like below, is a cheap and great option. - Get life on amulet and boots. - You've got lots going on in your tree. It's quite DPS focused. If your DPS is fine, I would give some of that up and opt for more defensive stats on tree. But really, it's your gear that needs the work. - You have 3x flasks with Freeze immunity on it. Screw that, just use Brine King pantheon if you're not using Purity of Elements, or if you are running PoE, then use another good Pantheon option because you already have Freeze immunity. Then change up those flasks for Bleeding, Corrupted Blood, Maim, or other defensive flasks. - Your Cinderswallow doesn't have the best stats. Instead, get 3% life regen and 3% life gain on hit. It's game-changing. See my flask setup below for a good option before transitioning into mageblood. You can swap out a life flask if you don't need it and opt for another defensive option like Jade or Granite. - Change your Ascendency from Shaper of Storms to Bastian of Elements if you need more defence. - Also, your bow has added fire damage so you are not getting Elemental Equilibrium. You can upgrade most your gear for better stuff for a total of no more than 100-150c.. although that's league prices, I'm not sure how expensive stuff is in Standard atm. I'm late to the party. I only just started the league 2 days ago, but I've managed to get the below gear for no more than 150c total (with exception of the bow) and currently going through T16's on the Atlas without too much issue... just to give you an idea of cheap gear that is more on path to end-game gear. Hello guys,
I am at a point now, where i don`t know what i can improve anymore. I`d like to push my uber damage to the ignite cap while also being quite sustainable (this is the reason why i don`t want to ditch bastion of elements). I am sitting on around 24 mil uber dps right now. The relic i use gives me 24% increased fire Damage and 20% increased duration of ailments on enemys Here is my pob: https://pastebin.com/Kv0i3cxW Some of you seem to know a lot about the build and i would be greatful for any advise. Thanks in advance. Last edited by MmClaus on Jan 25, 2023, 7:18:53 AM

Limevan, would love some comments and suggestions for a tune up if you have the time.
POB: https://pastebin.com/wre4A6FA Still feel a bit squishy, with low health.
" thank you so much! will work on the items!
" Sure. 1. Relic? 2. Content? Mostly bossing, mapping, sanctums, delve, others? 3. Budget
Hi Limevan can you give me suggestions on my build when you have time?
https://pastebin.com/tcCpG9W2 Thank you so much! |

" No relic. Haven't really looked at that at all. Right now, mostly mapping and heisting, for currency. Would love to try some bossing. Budget? Anything reasonable. Heisting is remunerative, but not THAT remunerative. I can usually accumulate a few divines every few days. FWIW, I currently have 4 divine orbs in my stash. But I can get more. " Sure, and I'm sure your offer is open to everyone here as well. I'm just responding often because I'm a psychopath, but my advice is mediocre at best. I think anyone who is posting for a review or suggestions to their build this league should add the following for a useful interaction: 1. Current Relic. A lot of folks run important stuff like ignite prolif, spell suppression, accuracy, mana reservation, etc on the relic, so this is very important to specify. Also, if your relic has an invocation, include the keystone please. 2. Goals. Mapping? Bossing? Hybrid for all content? Tell us so we can adjust your build accordingly. Some builds here are great for bossing, but will be slow as heck for mapping; and vice versa. For example, the build I'm running is aimed towards speed-mapping and sanctums, so you'll see me ignoring stats like chaos res and long fuse durations. If you prefer to focus on Simulacrum, we'll look at getting enough toughness and possibly ailment immunity. For Uber Pinnacle Boss farming, we'll be ticking every damage box and trying to get great burst damage while having enough eHP to tank big hits. Being clear about your goals is very important so we don't end up with a build that is just passable, but feels clunky for your favourite content. 3. Budget. Whether you have 1d or 10d saved up for your next upgrade, the build direction will differ. It's not going to be too useful if you aren't ready to be forking out >10d for jewels, so state your budget so we can work within it to stretch your dollar. (4. Difficulties faced. Low damage? Low survivability?) Sorry for being this demanding, but this will make things much smoother and more useful for all. Last edited by limevan on Jan 25, 2023, 12:14:00 PM
