" very true! once you have enough dps for content that you enjoy doing, it's probably wise to spec towards chaos res and utility. if you really feel like doing sanctums (rewards are disproportionately good, no juicing required) you can ease off chaos res though, since you won't be encountering monsters that do chaos damage. i'm having too much fun running these so i've just ignored chaos res and opted for speed instead. on the other hand, if you like doing legion 5-ways, then getting a good chunk of chaos res is valuable. same if you're a simulacrum enjoyer, then ailment immunity (from reduced ailment effect on gear or just replacing malevolence with purity of elements for immunity) is a huge deal. | |
Which invocation are you all allocating on your relics? I guess it's between freeing up a point or grabbing something like Lethe Shade.

" looks like there are 2 jewels that aren't showing on POB. 1. your amulet kills the build. having "Projectiles Pierce an additional Target" means the ballistas won't ever attach a fuse onto their main target. in the rare times that you have a wall or another unfortunate monster behind the main target, the skill will attach onto that, but otherwise it's just not going to do any damage. bossing will be hell since a single target never gets fused. 2. belt's not catalysed, and i'd recommend doing that ASAP. it gives a big boost to how quickly you kill. i can see how you value ignite speed since you're running all your jewels with it, so this free ignite speed would please you. 3. you're using a silver flask, but also running "Sleepless Sentries" on your medium totem cluster. the onslaught on your flask is wasted when you could have used a flask for armor or evasion (jade/granite). 4. all your active skills are supported by lifetap, but you have a mana flask. same thing as above, drop it for a defensive flask. 5. your suppression is at 90%. bring it up to 100% or you'll get randomly 1-shot from spells that do full damage. 6. you have 3,010 life. if you're trying to get to lvl 100, consider dropping a few damage rolls to get it closer to >4k life. even with great toughness, having a small life pool simply can't handle big hits. 7. 2.02 attacks per second might be a tad on the lower end. aim for more attack speed rolls, especially since you have none of those in your small jewels. "attack speed with bows" is a great mod to get, and you can pair that with "increased % life" to get your effective hit pool way higher. good luck, and hope this helps! [later additions] 8. When you feel like it, you can transit from Bastion of Elements to Shaper of Storms. This gives our damage 100% chance to shock, and when you run a few sources of "increased Effect of Non-Damaging Ailments", we get a huge damage boost. " I've tried a few: Lethe Shade's a good idea if you anticipate taking DoTs often, and it's around 5 div at this point. this was great for bossing (floor degens) and lab running (traps). delve will love it too, but i don't think too many people are into delves now. I settled for a keystone that we're already using since i was starving for passive points. These invocations are also cheaper (Ancestral Bond is less than 1d). PS: tried Ghost Dance too (getting hit gives you Energy Shield based on your evasion), but i didn't know that it doesn't exceed your current max ES, so it wasn't worth it given that i had sub 200 ES. will be great with high evasion while having a good ES pool, but our build is mainly armor/evasion so that's unlikely. PPS: folks also mention Eldritch Battery, saying this can open EA to both empower and awak ele dmg with attacks (and if mana starved, we can keep the rest of our skills on lifetap). with 12 base cost and 3.66 cost multiplier on support gems, each EA cast costs 43 ES. our recharge (after 50% less from Eldritch Battery) gives us 23 ES per second, so it's going to be clunky as hell. i suppose this is why Devouring Diadem worked, since it almost guarantees ES recharge. also, this is prolly why reduced cost of skills on rings and clarity watcher's eye is used. Hi,
can someone have a look over my build? I invested quite a bit of currency now and don´t really know if there are a lot of improvements left. My next step would be to buy a new watchers eye since i don´t use precision anymore. Mayby a new chest with +to maximum curses after that for elemental weakness or binding chains. I am using a relic with +lightning to attacks to proc ee and with call to arms for enduring cry (i thought this would be worth more than one extra skill point).
