[3.18] Gryph's Tank Simulator - A Detonate Dead Ignite Elementalist

20ex is fine, you'll need to spend 10ex on phantasmal unearth, then just aegis aurora/ashes of the stars/berek's respite/+3 gloves, and something like obliteration as a wand.

That won't let you do simu 30 - for that you'll need to craft the wand, which is 40-50ex in EV. But I'm pretty sure it's doable with +4 gloves, 20 unearth, and all of the above. Perhaps you can get away with a cheaper weapon to do it, particularly if you can compensate elsewhere.

With my current gear, it's trivial: +80% to fire resist (or however high it can get) makes it slower, but I guess I'm dying every 2nd or 3rd simu at worst, and probably from being a moron. I have plenty of room left for further upgrades too.

CI or not: it's not clear to me what the advantage is really. I see Gryph is doing it too. The aim is to save affixes via not needing resists as much?

Cool thanks. I am huge fan of purity of elements and that works HUGE with CI. However its harder to fit dmg and nice pool of ES. I will try it anyway

I'm doing it because it was something I wanted to try and I found:

For relatively cheap on the market
and I also successfully crafted:

which would have felt bad to NOT go ES based xD

So far I can do simulacrums fine, was a little touch n go at first, but I made some tweaks and added Melding of the Flesh+Purity of Elements so it should be pretty trivial now.
Not really finished, but this'll do:

Would prefer to have determination aura effect, and T1 life of course, but I ran out of money for doing harvest life rerolls with suffixes-cannot-be-changed.

Hey guys ! Stumbled in here after I made my build, in case you wanna check it's Chlurpte (in Archnemesis).

Playing as inquis, I loose some dps (about 15m dps for bosses which is still fine) but i am a walking tank. 90 all res 75chaos capped block/sblock with 1k3 hp and es regen. All in all I think i prefer my take.

Feel free to ask me details or aybe give me further advice ! (my weapon is bad, i recently respecced from hexblast where i used rebuke).

pob lvl 100 : https://pastebin.com/x8nYqGRq
Atm i don't have the full wither wheel, still perfectly fine to do absolutely all content including simu 30 or 100% deli or delving deep (totally fine at 400, canprob go to 1000+)

Also still trying to getunearth 21 sadly
