The guide says to swap when you get to maps but many of us made the swap much earlier (especially those of us who did not enjoy Lightning Trap). I made the swap in Act 9.

Ty, I dont like Lightning trap either thats why i asked
Thanks for this build - I only started playing POE in Harvest league, but this is by far my favorite out of everything I've tried so far. I'm coming up on being able to fight Sirus for the first time this league, so just wondering how everyone's experience has been with that fight on this build? I literally just want to kill him once, on A0. The only other time I tried that fight was with an ED/Contagion trickster last league, and I died six times, lost all my portals, and basically burned out on playing the game because I didn't want to get all the conquerors ready for another attempt. I feel much stronger on this character right now, but I'm a little wary because the boss of a juiced up Foundry map one-shot me 2-3 times when I was completing the Lunaris pantheon.

If anyone has a good guide they like, or advice for my gear, I'd appreciate it. I'm not sure what my next purchase would be before a super-expensive Clarity Watcher's Eye at this point. I only have 3 EX saved up right now after buying my 6L Cloak. Thanks guys.
Your success will also be based on your knowledge of the fight. Easy enough to watch guides or vids of other people playing this build specifically do the fight.

idk why you say you aren't sure what to upgrade, most of your stuff is hardly even mid-tier stuff. I suggest joining the discord to get more info.

regarding your gear:

wep1 - low mana roll, relying on it for resists, in general this could be better

wep 2 - this is like the opposite of your other...good mana rolls but terrible damage rolls, also still using it for resists

head - no enchant

amulet - its fine but bless orbs are cheap if you want to get that 5% more mana regen..also catalysts on this are huge

ring 1 - this just seems bad. resistance quality upgrades on a ring with terrible resists. some life/mana/damage but this could be way better.

gloves - shaper faster cast/blind gloves are very good but obviously get expensive if you also want mana/life/resists. Your gloves are okay but still could be better in those three areas even if sacrificing the spell damage implicit.

belt - same as comments on other rares, it really could be better. has life+mana+2 resists where you could probably cheaply buy something with 3 resists covered.

boots - probably one of your better rares even when its missing a life roll just cause it has 30%ms/triple res/mana

abyss jewel in belt - get something with life/mana/XXX but having the CB immunity is very nice too

flasks - imo you dont need a staunching flask with CB immunity jewel, agnostic helps keep you topped usually with good gear/regen...no jade/reflexes flask - can add reflexes to a quicksilver if you like having the movespeed.

tree notes - you have a random rare jewel that is giving you nothing besides when you use mistwall. shock stats arent that important and you arent leeching mana that I see. you have a rare jewel giving you nothing but some mana/resists and is wasted. You do not have a Healthy Mind yet that would be socketed up in the witch area for a large mana increase and small life loss. You still have the nodes for the life flask wheel when you are not running a life flask anymore.

Thanks for taking a look. I have resists spread around all over my gear and am literally barely capped. I guess I should get a ton on one piece of gear and then upgrade other stuff so I can drop resist mods there. Appreciate it.

One question, the reason I have no helm enchant is because I thought the corruption that gives +2 to all socketed duration tag gems is more valuable. Right now that's giving me level 22 arcane cloak, increased duration, and second wind. Does that not matter that much?

Enchant is more valuable. You want Blade Blast AoE to be as large as possible relative to Bladefall, as that will create more Blade Blast overlap and increase your damage on average. The main three ways to achieve that are Blade Blast AoE helm enchant, Intensify or Awakened Increased AoE link on Blade Blast, and Concentrated Effect on Bladefall (if you have pseudo-5L faster cast gloves).
Can we get away with not using some skills? I didn't realize how much buttons we had to press for this build until I reached maps and it's making my brain hurt. Right now I am using BF/BB, arcane cloak on LMB, vigilant strike, flame dash and flasks regularly then sigil of power for tough enemies. The rest I forget to use like vaal grace, conductivity (I think I only use it twice since level 63 and I'm level 75 now), and enduring cry but with all these buttons I gotta press and remember to do it it's starting to make me regret making this build. If I weren't dying sometimes like once or twice every 2-3 maps of T9 or 10 map then I probably wouldn't care but the dying plus clunkyness and needing to use a lot of skills is starting to get to me and making my brain and hands hurt. I might look for another raider build that's hopefully tanky but with a lot less buttons.

while there are plenty of good raider builds you will be hard pressed to find one with the defensive layers of this. Archmage is just really OP at making a solid build that scales both offense and defense. In most situations and mid tier maps you can probably get away without always having fortify/endurance charges up once your gear is alright. Conductivity can be got a ring eventually freeing that up. things like vaal grace you hit pretty infrequently and arent a big deal to just keep on second bar

I thought about it a little bit and I'm gonna stick with it. I put vaal grace on the second bar and with the way I have my buttons set up it seems manageable now. I probably will notice the build get better once I get to level 90+ and get Cloak of Defiance asap. Right now I'm lvl 76
