So still running in relatively bad gear in red maps.
Dying quite frequently now so looking to move over to "low budget"

Got a decent helm already for this, and looking like I can get a +1 minion & +1 spell gem wand for less than 5ex.

More curious to what people recommend in place of the Ashes of the Star necklace (as this isn't low budget at all atm)

Ashes of the stars being 40 ex kinda makes it a very high budget amulet now :)

Instead, just use any rare amulet you like during the low budget portions.
Basically any amulet with Life, resistances and Dex are good enoguh.

Highet budget options would look at +1 or +2 to skills or an Auls Uprising.
Ashes of the Stars is a luxury item now.

Hey Dead and fellow readers,
Standard player here. Thank you for your continuous support. Ive managed to convert to high end version of build. Some notes:
3 primal clushclaw + 1 carnage chieftain.
ag has kingmaker, explode+curse Chest + eleWeak gravebind + legacy of fury + crownoftyrant
i had to fit enlighten instead of hydrosphere to have some mana [my pc wont allow that much action on screen even if i have mana]
gonna put awakened area of effect into hungry loop as 5th support.
i know most of my clusters are not that good.
Planning to ditch melee splash on helm and get awknd minion damage while fighting bosses. actually i could ditch skeletons and get that, since DPS is not big of an issue.
molten shell on left click, phase shift on numlock.
I appreciate if you have any general comments. also could you please spot any upgrade point for me? I feel rather squishy, especially when molten shell is on cooldown.

You need 25% increased effect on your small aura cluster. That should give you enough reservation to not have to use Enlighten.

That should allow you to fit Increased duration back into the build making Molten Shell uptime feel much better.

You already have Minion dmg on your helm so no need to make it awakened.
If you're ditching Melee Splash, run Increased Crit dmg support instead.

If you want to tank up I suggest going for full block aswell.
Not 100% sure how to fit it gemwise. But you'd be running Bone Offering and Tempest shield and remove Necro Aegis.
From there you would swap to a Life on Block shield and change your spectres to x1 of each monkey and 2 Crushclaws.

If you need some help with testing a Block variation hit me up.

Do you guys actually map with Wellspring of creation on?

Edit: I did it. This is amazing.

Yeah, I started running it today.
Feels great :-)

which sentinels are you guys using?

The stalker one works fine, but I have issues with the other 2.

With the Apex one, bosses become either unkillable or I have to use 6 portals and it's very slow.

With the Pandemonium one, my minions usually kill the mobs before the sentinel empowers the mobs.

Unfortunately, the other two sentinels are almost unuseable.
Stalker is really good.

But we can't use pandamonium cause our minions kill everything before the sentinel gets to empower it. It's like Tormented Spirits all over again.
The correct way to use it is to kite a couple of large groups together and then blast it. But we can't do it cause everything dies too fast.

I've found 3 situations where we can and should run Pandamonium though:
1. Expedition: After pressing the dynamite to release expedition mobs. Run away from the expedition and don't kill anything. Wait for all explosions to release all monsters. Then run back in again and use the Pandamonium and you should get full value of it.
This is EXTREMELY dangerous since juiced up expedition mobs are insane.
Use Quant pandamonium sentinels here. They can give up to 200% quant and it affects the droprate of Reroll currencies and Logbooks, I think..
2. Breach: Same thing, open the breach, then run away. Come back when the breach is ~80% opened or so and use the Pandamonium sentinel to empower all monsters before your minions kill them.
3. Legions: Same as with the rest. Blow up the Legion, when it releases press the sentinel.

The Apex Sentinel is just complete garbage.
Never use it, it's undertuned. It gives no rewards and makes monsters unkillable.

In general I just run Stalker Sentinel and my tree just specializes in one Sentinel. We can't really use Pandamonium so might aswell put every point into the stalker:
died 40+ times today, cant really say I enjoy this visually as its just a mess with pets.

This is by far the rippiest league GGG ever has put out.
If you want to stop dying you need to get your defensive layers up and running.

Kinda worried past that too.
Seeing Mage builds with Aegis Aurora and Melding of Flesh getting oneshot to Essences aswell so doesn't look like it's getting much better for anyone unless you literally stack 200 layers of defense.

The visual clutter is really annoying, it's caused by the Crabs making water fountains all over which makes it hard to see what's going on.
For low budget as well, looking at the helm gem links you have raise zombie and spectre?

I have a Minion +3 / Minion Damage (30) helmet, what 4 links should I be going for in the helm?
the visual clutter is actually why I'm leveling a CF champ (ruetoo) and an inq RF (pohx) on the side.. just to see how the playstyle is.

Used to love pure syndicate operatives because they're were both amazing and because their projectiles were almost invisible.

Yeah I miss that too.
The visual clutter is really annoying, especially against hard fights like Aul where you can't just cheese him wtih 100s of million of dps.
Literally can't see what he's doing.

Kinda scared for how the endgame will look, if the defenses I'm packing in the build will be enough. Might be forced to go full block.

Most people seem to say that running the standard package of 100% supression, Defiance Banner, Grace, Determination isn't enough.

What's the interaction between EE exposure and hydrosphere? Is there a way to get the hydrosphere to stop doing cold damage?
