Any Tips on what to get first for gear coming from a tabula + anima stone?

1 lvl 21 carrion golem, spectre gems
2 lvl 20 animate guardian with cheap gear (dying breath, leer cast, windshriek, elemental weakness curse gloves)
3 triad grip gloves with 4 green sockets
4 two unset rings so that you can fit all gems after you change to triad grips
5 skin of the lords with good colors and non-detrimental keystone
6 +3 / minion dmg helmet
7 a decent amulet that you can anoint
Is it worthy to switch golems and spectres to helm if i don't have awakened minion damage support?
Also if we switch spectres to helm, how do we fit AOE setup, wont the dmg be too low
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.

Thanks for the tip on changing from frostbite to assassin mark, definitely works better on a higher budget setup with vicious bite, kingmaker etc.

Got these two rings for some added survivability and QOL (needing less res to be capped with ele weakness mod etc.)

Gives me 91% reduced curse effect.
With the Soul of Yugul pantheon you can get 100%+ reduced curse effect on you Or 75% with one ring. Pretty handy though you will be a somewhat dexterity starved if you want to use vaal haste and cold-attuned buckler. Still think it's worth investing a few skill points to be practically curse immune.

Up to lvl 96 and have done all the maven invitations, Sirus 9 etc.
Opted for a full glass-cannon build, not running aul or skin. Obviously get one-shot from time to time but it's not that bad, killing things in Poe before they can doanything has usually proven to be the best defense in my experience.

Why don't you use 3-curse setup ?

Dunno maybe I should? If I ever get a +1 spectre/+1 curse chest I will.
Otherwise I dunno, my AG still hasn't died this league with gravebind/impulsa then random rares with high res and corrupted/enchanted %regen life and I haven't been bothered to change his gear. Does the impulsa explosion apply curses to surrounding enemies? If it does I should probably get a windshriek on him, otherwise I dunno how useful it would be during mapping, like how many enemies does the AG manage to attack of all the mobs?

Hey guys, i'm following this build as my bosser in hopes that it can do a8 conq and sirus that my mapper cant.

I've started off with the tanky version and its got me to level 85 with few deaths.

My question is, as i go into t16's and conq's i die all the time and my minions are soooo squishy.

I've already put 4 ex just into this beginner version. Should i be moving onto the medium budget version (what is medium budget as 4 ex is alot for more already on the starter version)

Basically, i'm worried i'm going to invest alot of money into something that is just going to fall over for the content i want to do. Is the medium budget more tanky (player and minions) or just more damage?

I mean, your current chest can be easily transformed into +1 Curse, High Life, +1 Spectre one. However all these juicy resistances will likely be destroyed. You may check the chest on my character ExpeditingNerfs - I've done such from +1 Spectre, High Life, spending about 25ex. If you don't target Offering Effect you are likely to spend at least two times less money.

AG does not apply curses from Inpulsa, as every single trash-tier monster just explode. Rare ones may survive, however at that point AG will just apply his curse by hitting the target.

This is just my opinion and in no way a fact. But I don't think this is the best league starter, it needs so much currency to feel decent and to stop from dying all the time. I'm in the process of levelling a second character to use for a while, whilst I save currency for this one. I've never had such a hard time of getting a character to lvl 95.

It's a great build and OP is doing an amazing job of finding the best upgrades, it's just expensive to feel good. I'll come back to it when I have 50 ex to spend.
Yeah i have to say i'm really struggling with it.

Late yellow maps and early red maps it runs like a dream, but really there is no currency to be made here (maybe 50c a hour if im lucky)

i'm just really scared of putting many exalts into it and not getting what i expect from it.

Have to agree, and it is especially not good boss killer. Should've rolled trap/mine for that specific thing tbh. This is one of those builds that was way more realistic in ritual league where selfrolling pretty gg items was cheap.
I did 2x a8 sirus this league with this build but it was not exactly good time. Minion AI is not the best and any of his attacks is instant death (5440hp atm) your anime guardian will get instant gibbed so you disable him and lose huge ammount of dps. it is hard to fit chaos resists with no shield, no amulet and such specific ring rolls I try to cheat with
over time roll, does not visibly help at bosses, it seems to work great in maps tho.

Before this build begun to feel more good than suffering for me I already had 30ex of gear.

Spoiler
Also sirus is bugged af 1. fight deathless 2. fight i spend 3 portals with 10x better gear and more hp because of his aoe twister bugs, he was also refusing to land, there were 3 siruses in different map spots at once, invisible damage done to me, camera bugged out so i would see only 33% of the screen. death laser is easy to dodge, but bugs are not, so you want to do him quicker or being able to tank few bugs.

On the positive note, in these 2 fights i got 8ex of loot from him, so he is worth doing. I also did him at 0% exp, so death was non issue.

But I love this build because It is what i was looking for
, just walk clicking no buttons and chill. I want to push it as far as I will be able to. It is why I liked RF builds in the past and wanted to go death oath this league but people use TR with death oath and that is too much clicking so i decided for minion build.

Do not forget that if you want to play meta (skeletons) it is the easiest swap ever. But I would never do that for skeletons are additional clicks heh. I'm saying that just so you know that if you end up not liking this build you can just swap to cold skelekeks without losing your gear except maybe chest armor if u want different colors.

My current gear.
Spoiler

What would be next step for me, is rare shield with +2+2 really superior to determination charity?
And I plan to proc EE with boot enchant (+light damage if you did not kill recently) So ignore that i have no way to proc it currently.
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay,
And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today!

Thanks for the insight it really helps.

I already begrudge spelling 4-5 ex on this so maybe i'll cut my losses while i'm not too much out of pocket. All i'm really looking for is something to kill A8 conq's with and if it can do Sirus then thats a bonus but if not i can sell it on TFT for 100c

Maybe i'll re-roll trapper but the thought of spending 5 hours leveling again just makes me want to quit.... I can't see how a trapper would be any tankier than this
