[3.21] Cold Conversion Summoner | Build guides for all budgets | (Ghazzy Zoomancer)

Regarding the Chest - Helmet discussion: From what I've tested so far, not even the absolute Gigahelmet (+3 minion gems, lvl 20 minion damage/hypothermia, +3% crit, 30% more elemental damage) can compete with a +2 chest.
That being said, our spectres also do a lot of damage, so in the end it does not make that much of a difference, but the optimal setup for single target would probably be golems in chest, spectres in helmet

Since I am playing in SSF and not able to get Kingmaker for my Animate Guardian, which weapon would you recommend?

TOP buildguide btw, thanks a lot!!

dying breath is a pretty common unique that you can expect to drop after a while in ssf.

Hey, love the post, I just got my skin of the lords with ele equilibrium and trigger wand with added fire damage to spells. However there's one problem: My animate guardian has a helm that adds flat cold damage that is greater than the fire damage I'm adding to spells. Any solution other than changing helmets on AG?

Are you using a Crown of the Tyrant on your AG?

Yes I'm using Crown of the Tytant on AG.

You can get the "cannot deal cold damage" crangle on your weapon. Alternatively you could get the Avatar of Fire Keystone, but it got moved away and is harder to reach for us now.

Avatar of Fire is pretty easy to get with my tree thx for reply, much easier than crangling a good wand to get litteraly one great downside.

Few things. Have we looked at putting Carrion golems in our Chest? +2 on all gems. Awakened minion give +1 to Carrion golems. Wouldn't it make sense to put our Carrion in our chest unless we have a 8 link helm? Its +3 to Carrion and 22/23 lvl support gems.

I'm surprised people feel the need for Auls for Grace. I'm running T14-16 deathless and only dieing to Conquerors when I'm being lazy. I do have Bone offering and vaal grace in my setup though. Im just running a basic stat amulet and pretty sure I'll get a +2 gems. The only thing I feel lacking is bossing damage. Then I need to upgrade my wand from +1 to +2 and get lvl 21 gems/awakened.

Interesting, maybe OP can say something to this

I looked it up on PoB and this is correct. Swapping Golems to chest and spectres to helm is a dps increase.

The +2 to all skill gem buffs to Skin of the Lords and the +1 levels from Awakened Minion dmg completely flew over my head and you actually get a dps increase by swapping your golems to the chest.

This however, requires a chest with the correct colors so the 4b2g doesn't work unfortunately. In the long run we will swap back our Golems to the helm once we get an 8+ link helmet.

But for now I seem to get a 5% dps upgrade by simply putting golems in the chest instead when running with my 3b-2r-1g Skin.

I will have to do some number crunching and experiment with support gems to see what I can come up with.

I just tested out on my intermediate PoB.
It uses an 8-link helm(Minion dmg, hypothermia, +3 and 3% crit chance)
Swapping Golems for Spectres in this PoB results in a 4 million dps loss.

So it's correct that Golems in chest and spectres in helm pulls ahead with a 7-link and below, but at 8-link or higher golems in helm is the superior choice.
Massive PoB updates:

So i've spent some time to update all PoBs since I haven't touched most of them since league release. Some people pointed out to me that the new buffs to Skin of the Lords and Awakened minion damage actually resulted in it being better to 6-link our Golems in our chest.

Now alot of people obviously have spent money on getting 4b-2g chests and what not, which unfortunately won't work for Golems as they require red sockets.
I'm sorry about this and hope most of you don't feel you've wasted your money. The dps increase from doing the swap is pretty marginal so you should still be fine playing in your current chestpieces.
But if you got money lying around, you're going to buy your first Skin of the Lord or simply are trying to minmax when running a 7-link helm, the new optimal color for Skins are either:
Spoiler

1. 3 blue - 3 red
2. 3 blue - 2 red -1 green
3. 4 blue - 2 red

Doing this swap should result in a ~10% dps increase, meaning swapping Spectres to helm and Golems to Chest. This setup is optimal for any 7-link minion helm or below. Once we get 8 links or more on the helms Carrion Golems in the helm gives the best numbers again. I've also worked on cleaning up all PoBs since there was alot of questionable configurations in them since every PoB basically was made by copying the previous tier. This caused some gemslinks, configurations and even gear options to overlap when they shouldn't.

These are the new PoBs I've come up with:

Leveling PoB:

- Leveling (SOs): https://pastebin.com/fiL093Vb

Syndicate Operative + Phantasm PoBs:

- Low Budget: https://pastebin.com/jt7h5uaP
- Medium Budget: https://pastebin.com/PZyBbAbm
- Medium Budget (1 Cluster): https://pastebin.com/uECXbxLK
- Intermediate Budget: Reached Pastebin limit, can't make a code :(

Primal Crushclaw PoBs:

- Low Budget: https://pastebin.com/f4wBTLWs
- Medium Budget: https://pastebin.com/CsPLD6Xp
- Medium Budget(1 Cluster): https://pastebin.com/FGxXr7MC
- Intermediate Budget: https://pastebin.com/8b5a7NrL

The DPS numbers will be lower in these PoBs since I've ensured that they show actual Sirus DPS. That means all on kill proccs, power charges et.c. are turned of and the enemy is changed to Sirus. But overall, all of these PoBs are doing more damage than the previous ones.

EDIT: Saw that I accidently put the # of Crushclaws in the SO builds to 3, it's supposed to be 1 Crushclaw so dps is inflated.
Can't change due to 10 pastebins a day limit.

EDIT2: I see that I've worded the Kingmaker crit multi effect wrong.
It's reading Nearby enemies have +50% to critical strike multiplier but it's supposed to say Minions have +50% to critical strike multiplier.
So most PoBs should actually have more dps than what's displayed.

Any Tips on what to get first for gear coming from a tabula + anima stone?
won't we use molten shell anymore?
Thanks for the tip on changing from frostbite to assassin mark, definitely works better on a higher budget setup with vicious bite, kingmaker etc.

Got these two rings for some added survivability and QOL (needing less res to be capped with ele weakness mod etc.)

Gives me 91% reduced curse effect.
With the Soul of Yugul pantheon you can get 100%+ reduced curse effect on you Or 75% with one ring. Pretty handy though you will be a somewhat dexterity starved if you want to use vaal haste and cold-attuned buckler. Still think it's worth investing a few skill points to be practically curse immune.

Up to lvl 96 and have done all the maven invitations, Sirus 9 etc.
Opted for a full glass-cannon build, not running aul or skin. Obviously get one-shot from time to time but it's not that bad, killing things in Poe before they can doanything has usually proven to be the best defense in my experience.
