[3.14] Dejuvenate's Flameslinger Elementalist. Best League starter and unethical clear speed

probably flamewall damage will get nerfed.
I wouldn't be shocked if FW survived pretty intact, but I'm expecting to see Elementalist/golem buffs take a bonk of the hammer.

It's just a bit too good at providing generic damage, utility and survivability. Nice having a jack of all trades option, but right now it has become a clear choice rather than an option for a few too many builds for it to stay like this for long.

Totally subjective and every possibility I'm wrong. Fingers crossed I am.
some folks pm'ed me regarding updating this build. I plan on recapping and updating this once the patch notes are out. Hopefully nothing much changes.

Thanks to Lanse5050 for cleaning up the POB.

I'm also wondering the same thing. Clearspeed looks insane but will it be tanky enough to handle Ultimatums?

We will have to see. AS it is, Ritual made me a bit uncomfortable playing flameslinger (I league started as flameslinger in Ritual). The single target was a bit lacking as well. This build is OK for speed running maps and get to 120++/150 atlas & awakening completion, other builds might work better for other purposes.

That said, there are many folks way better than me who have gone beyond (CAKE, NokNok, and others) who hit 100 and bossed with this build.

I myself tend to make multiple characters per league, and if there is no significant change, I might not start with flameslinger again in Ultimatum.

I don't understand how to run auras with this build? my spellslinger is reserving 63% mana (6L). Am I doing something wrong?
So I plan to run this build as a league starter again in 3.14, and then transition into a build that I came up with.

Are there any significant upgrades to this build? I don't wanna read through 150 pages.
So here's my results in this league. I started mid-league only, so I failed to obtain certain gear (especially at the end of the league most people quit and there was nothing available anymore) and complete all of my harvest goals. I didn't use TFT because I didn't wanna risk getting scammed, I bet you can do things much faster if you buy crafts there. I did reach 100 and got the hideout. :)

I am VERY salty at GGG for nerfing harvest. It's an extremely short-sighted and stubborn decision made probably by one person we all know, but oh well.

Overall impression: I made somewhat around 400-500 ex probably over the course of 1.5 months. Before I never even had a Headhunter, so this is nuts for me. Clear is obviously amazing. Bossing, however, is very meh, as OP noted. With broken gear you can get to an OK level of bossing but nowhere near the true bossing builds.

Survivability is also very meh (by HC standards) even with max block. You're going to die, sometimes more, sometimes less, but this is not a HC build. You can still reach 100 by running Beachheads (you don't wanna die at 99, trust me, not even once), but in the new league there might be an issue of dying and losing your rewards, so I'm still debating whether it's an optimal choice for league start. It is a super fun build though, I've had insane fun this league with juiced T16 (no fractured maps because I hated that lag fest).

Here's all my gear atm with shit life rolls and lots of missing stuff (I might still improve it in standard since harvest will be around for another week hopefully, but I might also just take a break before the new league):

One thing I did this league I didn't do before... Normally I run my maps with chisels + alch + vaal + fragments. This league I was doing chisels + alch + vaal + 3 scarabs (I used gilded for legion, gilded for elder, and polished for breach and ambush). On top of that I used legion Zana mod (6c).

It sounds like a lot of money per map, but sometimes the more you invest, the more you get back. Same thing applies when running fractured maps, you spend 2 ex and get back 4 ex. Money printing in its glory. :D While fractured maps are tricky and require quite a bit of damage in T16 (although you can still run T2 and whatnot), scarabs are doable even without HH. And you farm for HH pretty fast doing that. On 24/7 days I made like 50 ex per day, but that was already by the end of the league when I had better gear.

I think it's also partially me just getting faster at the game. Each league I make more and more currency with same time investment, so I guess we all learn over time. :) Highly recommend scarabs though! Just buying them in bulk is annoying.

Is it possible to play this in SSF? Ofc with no fancy legendaries etc. , is it good enough , or will it have a limit on how good it will be?
I'd appreciate any answer!
