I’m curious why is Zealotry better than anger? It seems anger does more dmg
Zealotry applies consecrated ground at enemy locations giving us 100% increased critical strike chance as well. This helps with attack crit AND spell crit.
Anger got a buff this league so is probably better damage, but usually I default to zealotry bc of the crit. Let's me skimp on crit elsewhere. :P
so i got this base with 1 open prefix and 1 open suffix.
what are the right steps to go forward?
- craft suffixes cannot be changed
- harvest reforge crit for attack crit mod
- hope for open prefix to craft suffixes cannot be changed again and then harvest caster reforge for additonal curse?
goal would be additional curse + open prefix for gain % life as extra energy shield
+ spell crit
+ offering mod
+ attack crit (would also take res)

pretty much, yeah. Can also use reforge with attack to get attack crit as well.
If you fill prefixes you will just reforge, keeping suffixes. Do this until open prefix.
I would start with the enlighten for zealotry. If you need jewel sockets, get a large cluster with 1-2 of the nodes the guide recommends. I started with mage hunter/essence rush cluster.
Since you are already using rumi's for defense i would drop your basalt flask for a silver flask with the same mods to get your source of onslaught.
Thanks for the advice. For now I'm just gonna change flask. I tried enlighten 3+conqueror's jewel with zealotry and I got 8 mana. I had to lower my precision to lvl 15 in order to get 38 mana which is enough for my flame dash but my chance to hit was 92% on main hand weapon. I don't know if that's good enough or bad. Before getting the watcher's eye with es on hit, I'm probably gonna concentrate on getting my rare medium and small cluster jewel and just surging vitality on mego jewel since there's nothing showing up with surging vitality+mystical ward and overlord alone is too expensive for me right now. Maybe after getting my cluster jewel setup done, get enlighten 4? it's 4ex right now but I cant afford that yet
Do not bother with mega jewel if you are not getting overlord on it. Literally the only reason to get it. My heist jewel was just INSANE. Don't use that as a reference. Overlord is the only mod you care about on it. Anything else is gravy.
Get Medium Cluster Jewel though. Wrapped in Flame is very strong. I do understand though, that the bases are a bit expensive.

Ah, but then I loose additional curse right. I guess there is no way to guarantee additional curse + open prefix for life as extra Energy shield

You lose additional curse, but once u have another open prefix from reforge keep suffixes, you can craft suffixes can’t be changed again and reforge with caster to gurantee +1 curse again. If no open prefix again for craft, repeat this process. This is why this chest craft can end up being quite pricey.
Is there are reason to use Awakened Spell Cascade in the 6 link for single target? I realize that it is a damage increase for mapping but does it help on bosses at all?
