[3.13] Crackling Lance - On hold, will update soon

I'm totaly dissapointed in Crackling Lance but your thread gives me a little hope. Does the Skilltree work without those OP Items though?

Just woke up for the day and did some offstream gameplay, I killed kitava deathless, and honestly it's starting to pick up and i havent even linked archmage yet. Going to push into mapping and i will be streaming soon, just waiting for my cats to calm down and stop being obnoxious lmao

Is it just me or does stacking intensify on Crackling Laance do basically nothing. . . . .


I think you need to swap it, lives been better since i did.

tooltip doesnt matter much on POE. What matters is hidden damage. That's why people use POB. I just updated pob with crackling lance. I am going to add a new Pastebin showing the optimal dps links.

Ok, I wlll I have tested it. This isn't hidden DPS. The intensify is stacking. Intensify is a state, its gained via the spell. The state stacks. you get 4x stacks with the notable with or without hte support gem. You don't get stronger stacks with the support gem. Jest test it, the DPS isn't negligible. You will notice right away.

Also with the intensify support, the way it is worded, i dont think the "more area damage with hits" is calculated on tooltip. I will look into it and try to post on reddit for a solid answer from ggg :)

So i do not know what is happening 100%. I know the damage is not. I think even the AOE part is not in effect. The spell has its own text modifying the beam, "Less Branching" "+ Beam Width" It seams as the spell was designed with the spell inherent these take priority or simply over ride any aoe aspect. I can not be sure, but I match the cast up in a video editor and visually the is no difference. I guess that might not mean anything but I do not think you are getting more AOE.
