[3.25] One shot Tectonic Slam Chieftain. Great Damage and Survivability. Melting all content.

So I gave up on this, guess im too casual and have to little time for this endgame build. So many things needed for this to be good, no life/mana leech/regen and bad attack speed is the most annoying things about this build.

Changed my impaler sunder champion instead too crit and already more damage with good mana/life leech from phys. Im sure your build will have loads more dmg at the end though.

But want to thank you for a really well written guide, especially the crafting part, it helped me alot.
hi! im loving this build, and making transition to crit version. i found this staff, and im wondering if its worthy to craft ''hits cant be evaded'' on?

and again, thank you very much for your work!!

This was my league starter and have been having fun all league on it. Have downed Sirus A6 and a few 10 boss Mavens. Some general thoughts and commentary...

For anybody else getting annoyed at the lack of damage from the non-crit version on T16/A5+ conquerors and sirus, your conditions have to be *perfect* to get the max hits.

For instance, Ngamahu's buff is only up for 4 seconds out of every 10, and the build can't recover flask charges in fights like Sirus or other conquerors. Ticking just these off in PoB shows a dramatic drop in max hit damage, like 60%.

To get perfect damage, you *must* be at your last hit of seismic cry, have your 4/10 buff, all flasks up, wave of conviction, boss is ignited, covered in ash, and intimidated. Not likely to get all of these at the same time after your first hit in the fight.

As such, to make high level conquerors easier, try to keep track of how many exerts are left on your seismic cry and don't use your damage flasks willy nilly. It's tough, especially when you already have to track deadly boss mechanics like Sirus or Uber Elder. Ironically, this meat head barbarian bonk build requires a lot more thought and tact than any other I've played so far.

As for the good, the build is quite tanky with 7 end charges, fast and low cd enduring cry, and immortal call. Base regen is quite good as well. The only things that kill me are fighting 2+ beyond bosses at the same time in a juiced up Ritual cage match (I'm still at a -40 chaos res so partly my fault).

I don't bother with golems at all and self cast wave of conviction to more reliably have it up (4L for it is wave, ancestral chief, herald of purity, combustion). I'm not using skitters at the moment either, my mana reserve is ash, purity, blood and sand. Personally don't like the ring because it gives no life, attributes, or other stats and only has 40-60% ele res total.

Very much looking forward to transitioning to the crit version and will probably swap to Sunder for better clear on delirious T16s and potentially way more damage with hydrosphere shenanigans (plus its one of my favorite skills) or perhaps EQ as the delayed second hit would be wonderful for Rituals.

Thanks for the great build!

Thanks for sharing!

One small comment: we can indeed generate flask charge during boss fight.

If you look at the Sirus video, you will see we we generated at least 40 charges throughout the fight which allowed us to use bottled faith 5 times (one for each phase).

This is even more so with Maven's 10 boss fight, because killing a unique monster grants 11 charges. As long as you are not spamming flask charges inefficiently, you can keep your flasks on all the time.

Hi that's a nice staff, go ahead and craft the hits can't be evaded.

After that you can also reforge keeping prefix, to get better suffix.

Hi, really love the build. excited to see where it goes and how far i can get with it.

So i have been following the budget tree and gear. The tree and skills are the same and our armor/weapons are very similar. Yet in PoB your damage is almost 1m more than mine on sirus. I just cannot figure out why, could you please check by PoB and see whats missing, is it the one physical damage mod you have on your amulet? cuz it says your amulet is giving you almost 600k combined total dps, and when I added same mod to my amulet it seemed to add just 90k dps.

Anyways, its still alot of damage, and I am still one shotting all bosses in white maps, soon gonna hit a conq and see if I can one shot. But I just dont know why im 1m dps less than you.

Anyways, here is the pastebin. https://pastebin.com/S1eKEX7X

Also I grabbed this Axe for 12c, it has 650 physical damage, is this good enough to transition with into the 2ex build?

Thanks!

5. good to see soul tether is working well! In trade league we usually use cinderswallow to get energy leech too. You can consider using a timeless jewel like we did in mid-buget section, that's 20% life as energy shield.

6. About fortify in non-crit. Another thing that needs to be considered is when totem expires and golem died. For example, in Sirus fight or Maven's fight, the totem/golem might only be able to hit once or twice before they got destroyed by AOE. Then we are on our own, with reduced damage and low ignite chance.

Yeah, timeless jewel would be nice if I can find it, for sure with soul tether life leech transferring to ES.

As for fortify/combustion, you are definitely right that in those endgame fights it's hard for totem/golem to stay up. So the DPS will indeed be around 12% lower with fortify. I know that most of Sirius/Maven attacks can be dodged with skillful play, but the fortify buff might save my life if I get hit by a non one-shot mechanic. I think the player should choose which one he is more comfortable with, offensive or defensive, but both seem like decent choices.
the enchant on the new head makes it VERY expensive :p

only one listed for 25 ex, suppose ill wait to see if a cheaper one comes on

Hi, our build can benefit a lot from flat phys mod. So it is completely normal that a t1 phys mod leads to a big damage difference.

As for the weapon, the physical damage is 323-461. You need to get something like 400-650.

Seems like whatever listed as gear will be in high demand :)

I added a statement in that helmet section, basically it says don't worry too much about enchant mod. The helmet itself (and its numeric roll) matters more than the enchant.
