Hey there, I'm currently looking for a build that i could use for killing the feared/elder/uelder etc. basically all big bosses of the game. Can this build do them? Currently got like 20ex+ which i can invest into a boss killer, but i haven't seen a vid of this build doing the harder stuff.
How tanky is it / would you recommend to use it for that type of content i want? Thanks! | |

The tankiness comes from a 8k pool, Sap (-20% damage done by mobs), Fortify (20% less damage taken from hits) and Plaguebringing (-10% damage done by mobs, again). Definitely mate, the build can be pushed to ludicrous killspeeds with 50ex. The build simply scales ridiculously because of the base damage from corpses and cast speed being unnerfed. Plus, if you do T19 maps.. the corpse base life increases even further. Current Build: 15ex (but Awakened Cascade going up by 4 ex = 19ex). 7L Helm = 20ex if you self-craft or snipe it. 30% damage increase. Bottled Faith is about a 18% damage increase. Frenzy Charge on Hit Chest (with Explodey - or wear a custom Frenzy chest when entering the Feared or areas without monsters to kill) = easily another 15-20ex unless you get lucky making one. Without explodey you could probably make a 20c chest work (since we only need a 3L, not a 6L0. Frenzy Charge on Hit will give you 12% damage + 12% cast speed, so around 15% more damage. While I was talking to you, I did a Shaper to show you the tankiness + damage output while requiring absolutely no skill to pilot. For bossing, how multi button intense is it? Like i played cyclone max block glad where i had to place totems down activate rage and stuff which i found okay. I don't see from vids how intense it is. | |
" Great question. To be honest, the bossing is the laughably easy part and very button-light. This is because all you need to know is you can pre-cast 2 brands which last nearly 10 seconds each, then jump right onto the boss and Recall onto him/her. Spin once to get off Bone Offering + Fortify + Flammability (so for about 0.6secs). Then you can literally afk while the boss dies because no boss is able to one-shot you except maybe a 300% damage Villa Dominus Touch of God punch. And Uber Atziri Flameblast probably. Seriously, you can LITERALLY AFK once your brands are on the boss. On the Feared, it's the same principle - once your Brands are attached, go fuck off and do something safe on the other side of the map while your brands rip the bosses a new one and replenish your Life and ES. " Beats the shit out of me mate, I just put it on livesearch and used a simple 1ex Conc Effect + 30% Ele Damage until i got a deal. (bought an Elder and Horrored it twice.) I imagine these guys are actually using fossil spam, and probably making a killing too.
