" I don't see any reason to use other belts after just a 10% nerf, because I think a hunter belt for chaos dmg / attack speed + cdr is gonna be better nor cheaper than Torrents. Besides, IIRC Torrents will still remain the same (basically just Harbinger nerf), debuff expiry is much more important because we don't have curse immunity anymore from flasks, cdr is still an important stat especially after second wind nerf, and attack speed is nice to have I cast remi - a very beginner friendly guide : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2866127

I honestly think this tree is the best you can have before clusters and jewels

" I don't see the need for ailment immunity since on SC we only care about freeze, and freeze don't happen often (maybe the exception of Haast on beyond maps). Since it doesn't happen often, why are you willing to go all your way out just to grab ailment immunity and lose a bunch of damage at the same time? If you are playing on HC I will understand it, but SC is a very questionable choice. I mean you can do whatever you like, but I believe the anti freeze flask will solve most freeze issues currently in the game. You may argue about shock and ignite immunity, or even brittle / sap / scorch etc etc. Yes both of them are a big deal, but not on SC. I believe most guides doesn't suggest you to grab anti shock flask or ignite flask either (except ES builds because Ignite is shafts their recharge) I only see ailment immunity as a nice thing to have, not mandatory and definitely not worth dropping a lot of damage for, at least in my opinion on softcore. i guess the best way for early league is raider TR ballistas and CA for clear until you can fix mana issues for selfcast. any opinions?

" Sure that works, but Deadeye won't have much issues with mana on bosses anyway (except moving bosses like Hunter) thanks to poacher's mark and marks buff. " You could ask them why it's very great at the first place *shrugs*. But as a sc ranger build, you aren't suppose to get hit very often. If you do somehow managed to get shocked (usually a big hit), your hp will get chunked very low instantly. The follow up damage bonus from shock will left you more vulnerable, but it's a dodge build that doesn't get hit often. Ignite on the other hand, I only recall the synthesis boss that applies a very huge ignite, but it's not a boss we commonly encounter anyway. Im looking for a starter that isnt to slow in the playthrough and for mapping from tiers 1-15 i can make a second character to do all the endgame beyond t15 no problem but will this have a steady progression from act 1 to high tier maps at league start after all the nerfs? im quite an experienced player but the changes to everything has me stomped, also is their a way for this build to deal with curses as a map mod?
