Hi there
Where do you put The Megalomaniac, I cant see it in the tree. Also, as promised its very tanky but what to do whern facing complete fire immune bosses. A few times already in lower maps me and some boss can just stand for 5 minutes not being able to hurt eachoter.. | |
" Hello! The Megalomaniac was used in previous leagues when we could get a full strength Fortify via Overlord. But when they nerfed Fortify it no longer was useful to our build so we don't use a Megalomanic by default. If you find an absolute perfect one you can add it but it is not part of the baseline any more. The only monsters in the game that are Fire Immune are in expedition (but you have complete control over these to simply never choose that mod when laying your mines). There are plenty of monsters that have strong resistance to fire but we build in lots of Fire penetration and other forms of weakening a monsters resistance to fire that you won't have any problems with them once you are powered up. |

I don't know quite how to use the recombinators yet but this is an outrageously powerful outcome. It is basically a free Enlighten Level 4

ok I gave up on my league starter earlier than I expected. I don't feel good investing any more into a character that is a bit glass cannony, especially in the state the game is in right now.
Going to start leveling the Inquisitor Incin and see how that goes. Can't go worse than my league starter :) |

Is it the version on top of this page (348) or is it the one on page 1? The last version differ a bit, mainly in having a different color socket body armor. | |

Ok, I must have misunderstood something them:
Page 1: Body Armour: Incinerate - Infused Channeling - Inspiration - (Awakened) Controlled Destruction - (Awakened) Elemental Focus - Empower Page 348: Body Armour: Incinerate,Empower,Awakened Fire Penetration Increased Critical Damage,Infused Channelling,Inspiration I just went with the gear, jewels and stuff from page 1, maybe that was outdated and a mistake, dunno... | |
" you are confusing two different versions of the build. The first page includes POB's for 3 versions of the Incinerate build. Inquisitor, Elementalist and Guardian. The POB on page 348 is for the Inquisitor version. The gem setup you quoted from page 1 is for the Elementalist version. Your profile is private so I can't see which version you are playing. But in any case, choose the POB from page 1 that matches the character you want to play. Note that even if you are playing inquisitor, you can still use the Elementalist gem set up until you make the full switch to a crit based build during end game.
