Can you post a video how you play the build?


Often its hard to judge where the mistake is or what advice to give without seeing whats going wrong.


Edit: I imported your build in PoB and it says 7k ES thats where the problem is. Drop dmg until you hit 8k or better 9k and focus on damage afterwards. 7k is very low (barely playable) for ES characters

Examples on gear would be: go for more ES and less damage on helm (270-300 ES). Gloves with 190+ ES also greatly help. Also you are missing a second Energy from Naught cluster for further big ES boost.

More base ES helps with all the mechanics in this build as it boosts passively the ES regen which is % based and the leech as well.

Maybe i should add this to my FAQ as i saw many people struggle who maxed into dps but only had 6-7k ES and mentioned survivability problems.

I wholeheartedly agree with that statement.


I'm glad I went for defence first. I'm around 10k ES now, though my DD explosions are only at 400k dmg per hit but its enough to delete any content. Deathless T19 100% delerious included (though the garden can still kill me).

I also went for elemental ailment immunity, and immediately noticed a boost
in survivability when I archieved that. I guess not being shocked and then receiving a crit does make a bigger diffrence than I thought.

I'll post my version of the build later on.

Thank you very much for your advice, I understand what you are saying and I am going to go up to level 96 by increasing the second small cluster of ES and increasing ES points to go up to 9k.
The truth is that I have no survival problems on normal maps or damage. But it was my intention to make T16 juice maps and I wanted to upgrade my build there.

Where do you think my next exalted should point? 2x spellcascade? HedadHunter? Shavrone 2AoE? Improve any piece of equipment?
Where do you think that investment would be more noticeable?

Crown of the Inward Eye is too expensive with the enchant (currently 85ex)

Headhunter would obviously help the most if you're planning on doing giga juiced t19 100% delirious maps since there are so much rare monsters /w beyond and legion you will be literally invinclble so I don't see how you can struggling. I was clearling 100% delirious with way worse gear than you have now.

+2 to Socketed AOE gems definitely boosts damage by alot, but that's alot more exalts compared to awakaned spell cascade, so it's up to you to decide.

loaded the POB pastbin of OP, the average hit of VD is about 1.39m, when I used the same configuration and load my character, it is only 664k per hit. OP has 80% more crit multiplier than mine, I tried to made one fake item and bring my crit multiplier to 430%, the average hit goes to 700k, still only half of OP's value. OP has 10% more crit chance than me, but I can't figure out where it come from.

can someone help me find out what is missing on the damage?

Comparing item by item and stat by stat is very time consuming task especially if you use a different setup (rare helm) and i hope you wont be angry if i wont do that for you.

I can give you advice to check tab "Calcs" choose your skill there and look at "Total increased" and "Total "More" you will see a difference there.

Things that came to mind first: Arcane Surge with dash for a bit more damage. Spell Damage % or Fire Damage % is better on Wand than Fire damage to spells. Crit Chance might come from Watchers Eye additional crit mod. Max your gem levels to 21.

Also a few pages ago some contributor posted a tree which is using 6 X tripple crit jewels with 8% ES each which is a giant damage boost. I recommend to search it and check it out if you want more dps.

For the rest you got the tool to figure it out

Suggestion and advice is good enough and appreciate for all those ideas.

I will try to run POB with inward eye helmet and see if it is worth for getting it. Starting at 60+e is so expensive

Newbie to POB, didn’t know there is total increase and total more available, will definitely start from ther

Use x2 Unset Rings instead of x2 Unique ring. More ES, gem slot, regeneration for sustaining RF , endurance charges for tanky, 75/75 block, 10k es, more mobility with dash/smoke mine/second wind. T19 is totally like a cake.
