Why are we not getting Glancing blows? Build feels squishy.
You'll be more squishy with glancing blows in this build! You want glancing blows if you utilize a form of instant recovery from blocking (life recovery from Surrender or %life on block for life version, %ES on block for LL) and your block chance is so-so. This build doesn't have instant recovery from blocking in favor of more damage.
Also, your block/spell block chances are already pretty good because of Bone Offering. 55/60 for me WITHOUT Rumi's. Glancing blows would be equivalent to dropping to 37.5/37.5 in total damage taken even if it cost no points to get.
Doesn't the 50% damage taken from blocked hits help? I see alot of poe.ninja VD necros using it with same gear as zzang's build.

Personally I didn't take skill points required for jewels(rare one/transcendent flesh) while had not enough of them, also I guess you can drop written in blood and mystic bulwak and won't feel a big difference.

You can level up without herald of ash no problem.
You can run zealotry / anger 15% reduced enchant with herald of ash on blood magic. Those are quite a bit cheaper.
I didn't go low life until level 90
There's quite a bit of flexibility and the build still feels good to play even without the perfect end game setup.

Hi, my friend are trying use this build, but he have a problem, when use detonate dead in 6L the VD don't use the balls of fire, only have a normal atack from spellslinger, who know what is the problem? Thx all
