Sirus - awakener 9 (forgot that this is a thing now, figured I'd give a little video update) :)

Took a little longer than anticipated because he sat over a cloud awkwardly for a while

I'll do a bunch of maven fights and delirium when I level

Current content bottleneck is the last two super maven fights.

The four breachlords I lack the single target damage to down Esh or Tul before the other two come up and fill the arena with poo. Haven't tried the elder / shaper / chayula / cortex but I feel that will be out of reach at the moment too.

I know I can get regular DoT multi on my quiver and bow with some work but what else can I do.

Simulacrum, T16 juiced maps all feel incredible with the build. Maven is also fine I just swap in a second wind on my enduring cry instead of blood rage.
My solution to the Breachlord Invitational is to find Tul and focus her down entirely as much as you can. As soon as Tul dies, you've effectively won because the rest of the breachlords can be kited into oblivion. Xoph is a melee autoattacker and I literally have no idea what Uul-netol does besides make bone sculptures, and Esh's nova can be outranged.
I have killed breachlords yesterday with one death. I failed my previous attempt on those because i didnt have enough dps to kill one before next spawns and also elemental damage was 1 shotting me. For my successfull attempt i respecced to transcendence and the difference was huge. I lost some dps but i was basically able to facetank the whole fight.
Just some notes to transcendence because it seems to confuse people:
Transcendence changes how armour works, with transcendence armour doesnt mitigate physical damage, it mitigates elemental damage.
Transcendence also lowers our resistances to 70 so this might seems bad but armour just makes up for this easily.
The reason why this is so strong for elemental damage is simply because of double dipping: resistances reduce damage by 70% - so armour has to mitigate only the last 30%, and that actually amplifies strength of the armour (you can read on wiki how armour really works).
This all leaves us without defenses against physical damage. The solution Wolfie was proposing to mitigate that is to rotate molten shell and focus with double fortify on focus on chest piece - but this seems to be pretty hard to pull off, instead of that we can try to convert physical damage to elemental.
This can be done by adding physical damage converted to fire/cold/lightning on chest and helmet - this alone should convert around 25% of physical damage to elemental. Using Taste of Hate flask converts 30%-38% (depends how much you invested in increased flask effect on the tree) to cold. This let us convert around 60% - 70% of physical damage to elemental that is then reduced by resistances and mitigated by armour. On top of that we still have fortify up all the time, endurance charges and 10k shield from molten shell atleast half of the time.
We can pull physical mitigation even further:
- we can use watchers eye with converting x% of physical damage to fire/cold/lightning while we have purity of elements, we can have up to 3 of those mods on watchers eye (3 purity jewel will cost fortune tho)
- with maven orb we can actually empower those conversions on chest and helmet to be few % stroner and regenerate some of the converted damage to life - this seems very very strong
With enough investment and some dps sacrifice we can reduce physical damage by 90%. Im currenly sitting on around 45% -50% phys to elemental conversion, still missing helmet affix, and im not running purity setup - but this feels already very strong.

how important is explody chest for this build? I am considering:
a.To craft a double influence chest with explosion/fire to physical/mana cost/enduring on hit. whice will cost a lot.
b.To craft a T1 life/T1 %evasion/mana cost/ and multi mod for fortify and %life and mana. Whice will be really easy but I don't know how far it will carry me.

my current chest:
T1 life T1 evasion T2 cold res. With warlord influence

Any craft suggestion will be welcomed.

Explodey chest is really great for clear speed, but absolutely not necessary.
You're fine to start with the easier chest and work towards explodey later on - I feel like money is really easy to make this season comparitively. Everyones buying everything
I want to share my personal preference for upgrading chest:

I start with a Dendrobate chest or Inpulsa (often try to 5-link it while I reach white maps). Dendrobate is a very good chest before you accumulate enough currency for rare chest. This stage, I don't care much about defense.

When my other gears catch up offensively, e.g. I have better quiver, better bow, etc., I'll see if I can craft a chest with enduring composure (+endu charge when hit) and -mana cost without affecting my DPS much. This stage I'm trying to scale defense a bit.

Finally, I'll see if I want to optimize my farming, assuming I have lots of currency at my disposal, then I'll go for an explode + enduring composure hybrid. As soon as I can 6-link the new chest (and yes, assuming not bricking with too many bad mods/how many is too many btw? :D), I'll put my old rare chest for sale to recoup some investment.

Amazing writing as usual, greenrasp. I'm glad to see more people transitioning to the Transcendence variant.

Except for the purity of element, all hints to mitigate physical damage are already presented in the video guide and PoB, greenrasp. You can see I have put forth various phys taken as elements recommendations (helm, chest, dying sun, taste of hate), and even +max to element resistance (helm, quiver) to mitigate the side effect of Transcendence in reducing max element resist. The rotation between MS and Focus is the top level execution to be perform to take advantage of everyting we have prepared. ;)

If you are committed to go deep in delve, i.e. over 1k depth, also check out this combination with Transcendence: Determination - Malev - Purity of Ice, assuming you have the WE with (deter and malev), capped chance to poison and a well-roll rare ring to ditch both Herald of Agony and the Nostalgia ring.

Hello!
Thanks for a great build, I am having loads of fun with it.

Can you please help direct me with upgrades, I have 22ex saved up and am not sure where to invest next; malevolence amulet? helmet, boots, chest? something else?

Here is my PoB: https://pastebin.com/a8nzbtbm
I use Quicksilver for mapping and coralito for harder bosses

Any other opinions and corrections are welcome aswell!
Thanks!

Hi!

First thank you for the build Wolfie, i've been playing this for second season and its still great. Got some hurdles in the middle with single target, but its seems to have gotten better.

@Slottm, do you mind sharing some ideas to reliably generate some cash? :) We can talk in PM or game chat, if thats easier. Wouldnt mind your opinion on advancing the build as well...

Also, can anyone give some tips to salvage this poor bastard?
