" Cheers WolfieNa! Will change out some gear pieces to get my chaos res up and get myself a Vessel of Vinktar and Dying sun. Also respec the channeling wheel for HP. Just a question about the flask-setup. Which flasks should I run? I'm thinking Dying Sun, Vessal of Vinktar, Hybrid flask, Cinderswallow (with right craft, oops) and a Basalt flask (for the Phys damage reduction). Would this be the right setup? Also, if I get the extra arrow from Dying Sun I don't need the extra arrow from the quiver, right? Meaning I can get a better dmg (and potential chaos res) quiver? Thank you very much for taking your time to help me :) Will get back once I have done these changes and let you know how it feels! Last edited by LtDrunk on Nov 1, 2020, 7:25:05 AM

I actually opted to path to the Silent Steps cluster with just passive points to get my source of BLind and use the freed up space to run Dread Banner. It stacks with Blind to really crater enemy accuracy through the floor and as a bonus you can get an F-35 Super Fortify when it's stacked up (each Scourge Arrow shot will give 3-4 stacks on a single target).
I've also experimented with Blast Rain Ballista Totems and I've found them to be weirdly appealing so far. They have a slight wind-up before they start shooting, but having 4-5 of those suckers going will shoot a boss to Wither cap in the blink of an eye, and you can do stuff like Culling Strike or adding in Decoy Totem to the mix with the extra links. |

There is one more thing worth considering - Plague Bearer.
DPS seems low, you get that 1mil damage over 8s from base 20/20 gem, can be increased with +skills, empower, -enemy chaos resistance, curses. And AOE will increase radius obviously. But whats most interesting, this damage seems to not get lowered in delirium/simulacrum. From what I understand, delirium applies less damage debuff to a player while in fog. And since more/inc damage modifiers don't apply to plague bearer, this skill is not weaker in delirium. So easily dismissed skill, because dmg number seem low, turns out to be very nice and dealing ton of damage to delirius enemies. Not that it is weak in regular T16s, in fact if you boost it to 1.4mil damage, get dual curse (despair from flask is great because it works like aura), you can just rush through regular T16 and melt trash in one quick pass. Scourge arrow charges it to full in literally 1 shot. But in delirium it really helps, speeds up killing noticeably.
That is correct. Plague Bearer was an MVP 1/2-link skill in Delirium league because it ignored the damage malus applied to the player so you could melt trash even when balls-deep in the fog.

" Hi WolfieNa again! I haven't been able to play that much since changing the above, but MAN did it make a difference. I swapped out my flasks to run: Basalt, Vessel of Vinktar, Hybrid, Dying sun and Cinderswallow (with right suffix, again lol) I also swapped around some gear and got myself resist capped (inc Chaos) while flasks are up, and in the process got a helmet with the pod-enchantment. I have yet to die with these changes! (On a sidenote, I did die 2 times running Sirius AW3, BUT it was my first Sirius-kill of all-time, and BOY did I accidentally face tank som beams and other stupid stuff without insta-dying). So again, cheers WolfieNa! Will probably try my hands on a fractured blueprint soon. Just gonna level myself up to 95 first to get some more HP and maybe try crafting a bit more HP on my chest, currently running at 5k. This build has been tons of fun!

Hello, decided to try this build for my 3rd league in this game and it's a pretty enjoyable playstyle so i want to push it as far as i can.
I'm looking for an Aul's Uprising amy as my next upgrade and as a result i will have to use the same flask setup as in your PoB to keep up with resistances, ditching my Quartz Flask of Warding for a Vessel of Vinktar in the process (i'm already using Taste of Hate and Dying Sun). So it might be a stupid question but i know you don't have to worry about Ele Res or Ele ailments while under flask effect, but how would you deal with curses? Some of them are pretty brutal. Also any recommendations about how i should proceed to further upgrade my current setup would be greatly appreciated. Hello!
Just would like to say I've been enjoying your twist on the build. I started playing Scourge back in 3.10 and I decided to try your take on it this league and it's been pretty solid. I'm level 96 HC and I've done up to A5, and all the Heist bosses. The tankiness feels solid, and the flask duration makes it easy to be mildly brainless while mapping/heisting. I guess my real complaint and the reason I don't want to drop any more money into the build is the lack of damage. I'm honestly not sure where I can squeeze more blood out of this build to get the damage numbers up, but maybe that's because I'm pretty new to bow builds. Got any immediate recommendations? The available items in HC are slimmer, but I have about 4,000C just sitting around so sky is mostly the limit. Thanks in advance for the help, I'm just hoping to push this more instead of just going full aura-stacker. PoB Link: https://pastebin.com/7SNmPXPN
" As you crave DPS, you really want Tailwind boots. Craft Spider aspect on your gear, so you have curse on hit on corrupted gloves and spider on ring, etc. Alternatively, get a despair curse on hit ring and craft a better gloves (+36% AS while focus, +1 frenzy or DoT, etc.). 140% inc ailment duration while focus on helm is important. " Thank you, I'll immediately give that a try. Again though, seriously thank you for the countless hours and thankless work you've put into this build. It amazing to finally have a bow build that feels this good. |
