The exerted attacks from Infernal dont get used so is the cry worth the gem slot just for Ash?

I've not tried it / theorycrafted it, but it should be fine. (Significantly) higher entry cost for sure as you'll need a Farrul's Fur to make it work against single targets, and you'll eventually want a corrupted Replica as well.

Correct, it gives around 10% more single target dmg in most single target situations (up to 15-18%).

I am a BIG fan of cold builds and shattering stuff. That and poison.
I absolutely adored it. Your fire build was the only non cold or non poison that I ever played. I am not a great player, and I am playing PoE for only a year, on and off, as my IRL allows: some weeks 2-3 hours a day, some weeks nothing.

I played your build and flicker for the first time in Heist: not as a league starter. I also was very very stubborn and wanted to use Flicker as soon as possible. As such I died... a lot! there were some gameplay adjustments that I had to do, until I got used to it, but after that it was fun. And mapping was sooo soooo fast. I loved id.

But damn, that was fun. I will play this build again. Still not sure if I will go with it as a league starter, because on PS4 the prices are really off the charts, so it might be too expensive in the first month to get all the gear. I still have 60ish hours to decide my league starter build :).

If you would manage to create a cold version of the build I will jump on it in a heart beat. I will check the thread/build regularly over the next weeks to see if you can help out cold fans. Also it does not have to be perfect, just comparable. Of course, if you have the time.

Thanks again for the wonderful build and the hours of fun I had exploding packs.

Quick question for league start/ little currency. Impresence is pretty expensive right now and I see alot of people playing the build without it for now, am I gonna be fine starting with just an Oro's + a 6l Body Armor or is Impresence completely mandatory?
Sorry if it was already posted.

Build is completely fine without Impresence in white / yellow maps. I was just casually zooming through T10s without it, using a 20c corrupted 6L and a 5L totem setup. Boss/Conquerors were taking 5sec-ish at this tier.

Impresence will eventually become necessary somewhere through red maps, as DPS will be a bit too low without it. But you should have enough currency by then - just bought mine for 120c, and prices are already dropping.

Thanks you for the quick reply,that's very good to hear, already leveling the build, got myself a tabula to speed everything up a bit, might try to use Flicker at 27, not sure how that's gonna look like though.

I have really basic gear so far with this build and it has been destroying stuff. Paid 20C for a 6l body armor with some life, evasion, res and 10C for a 5l Oro. Definitely can do Yellow maps with low budget gears. The Ritual mechanic is just really good for Flicker.

You dont need anything for Raider flicker frenzy generation except for multistrike.
20q flicker = 20% to gain frenzy charge on hit.
And 20% from ascendancy on bosses.

With multistrike we hit 3 times so we always gain extra frenzy charges. 3 x 40% Sure we might be unlucky and start slow on single boss but that rarely happens. Or you can use 4l frenzy for bossing which will be more damage than flicker.

Replica version saves us annoint (free endurance charges) and we dont need corpse destruction from jewel, its also much safer since everything is permafrozen. Missing cull is sad tho.

Unfortunately, I'm positive Raider ascendancy + 21/20 flicker strike gem doesnt sustain frenzies on a single target. Source : my lvl 100 SSF physical based raider from Harvest.

I'm not sure why, but its not enough - just test it yourself before commiting gear into a theorycrafted character. I think its because the flicker gem never gives back more than one frenzy per cast, but I've not thoroughly playtested it.
