[3.13] 🔥Oro’s Flicker Strike Raider🔥 | Top tier mapper/currency farmer | 10M+ DPS | All Content
Hey, for 3.13, I was wondering if dropping the Avatar of Chase Node for the perma phasing ascendancy would be worth it. What do you think?

" You'll find some info in the build variants section. Slayer will easily outperform a raider in raw damage, but you'll have to trade for it your 95% evade chance. You'll be at 60% max, which mean you'll take approximately 800% more damage from creep attacks. This can be unimportant or critical depending on the situation (dead monsters don't retaliate), but you'll be noticeably less survivable in tougher content such as delirious maps. " I'm quite skeptikal. The onslaught ascendancy gives you (3.13) : - 30% increased and 35% more evasion, which is the reason we can hit the 95% cap - Onslaught and 180% increased Onslaught effect, which translates to +56% attack speed (16% more DPS, equivalent to 20% fire pen) and +56% movement speed. In terms of DPS, both paths should now be pretty much equivalent. In terms of survability, the phasing path is better against spells (easy 65% spell dodge and ailment immunity), while the onslaught path is much better against attacks (can get to 95% evade instead of 75-ish %). In terms of movespeed, the onslaught path is better, even if you replace the freeze immunity by extra movespeed on one of your flask. It might be worth a try, but I'm not sold. Even with the Onslaught ascendancy, you'll already have close to permanent phasing thanks to the quartz flask - and you probably don't want to replace it to keep your dodge chance maxed. I'm sold with the slayer build, changing some things here and there and pathing to the right with ruthless support gives 20mil dps including totems.
With 65% eva and 57% phys dmg reduction on 5.6k hp should hopefully let me survive even if I do take a hit. https://pastebin.com/mvvhAqDW With harvest being back getting better gear than this is possible too. <3 You could have made this thread alot more clickbait with 20M+ DPS on the title instead.
hey new to poe, was lookin at builds and will be starting with some friends on Friday. Tried the build out with tabula and it was really fun (lower lvl still don't did not have all gear) I was wondering why your build did not take disciple of slaughter. I thought more frenzy= more dmg. can you explain it to me please.

@Uzu1992
Ahah, I'm hoping a lot of good things from Harvest as well :D If you want to try your tree with some crazy gear, you can slap it on this legacy Harvest version : https://pastebin.com/S6GNv2YD. It was already north of 20M shaper DPS as a raider, so with a Slayer ascendancy, and gem swapping Melee Splash for Ruthless you can probably POB warrior your way to 50M DPS. Note for all readers : gem swapping Melee splash for Ruthless and activating Vaal Ancestral Warchief (instead of the regular one) will give you around 70% more DPS. But I consider it to be mostly POB-warrioring, as the first is unwieldy, and the second has low uptime, so it's not included in either the clips or the showcased numbers. That said, the build can certainly break the 20M shaper DPS mark (for 4-5 seconds, but its enough to phase or outright destroy anything in the game) if you resort to this kind of tryhard tactics :p @pirate_yar posted a couple impressive clips a couple pages back with a build variant, https://streamable.com/twxgk3. I suspect he was achieving around 30M real-conditions shaper DPS. @MaxLvlNoobster We eventually spec it, but not before lvl 92/95. Most of the other notables you have access to are usually better value per spent point. Last edited by Heinarc on Jan 14, 2021, 3:43:36 AM

Thanks for answering so fast. Really great that your spending your time to help people out. It seams like the build will have hard time on some bosses if your not killing them fast enough. I'm planning to play with a friend and we might have up to 4 people. Is cyclone the best swap in, or there's some other options also.
Also was looking at your damage prevention and did not quite understand. Does cast when damage taken not proc val skills. it seams u have them 4 linked together Last edited by MaxLvlNoobster on Jan 14, 2021, 6:06:48 AM

If you are using cyclone, bossing is really not that bad IMO. I recommend this skill as it doesnt fill the screen with random shit, and allows you to dodge dangerous boss skills while keeping the DPS up.
Another good option is tectonic slam which allows you to apply dmg from a fair distance. I just find it a bit more clunky. Regarding the CWDT setup, I recommend 4-linking CWDT / Steelskin / Increased Duration with Vaal Grace because Increased Duration benefits both Steelskin and Vaal Grace, raising its duration to 10s. It however won't be procced by CWDT, you'll have to press it manually.
ok Sweet thanks, was not sure how that interaction worked. Tectonic slam seams pretty cool also, will add it to list of potential swap skills if dying on bosses.

Working for 3.13?

Looks very interesting. Concern I would have if this build will do well in Ritual with the multiple bosses mechanic. Do you think it will stand up nicely?
This will prolly be my last league in POE before I await POE 2, looking to go all in for once. Im scared of one shots as an evasion build and losing all that xp when trying to push 90+, as thats where I tend to start dying a lot on my toons and quit lol. Problem is I love flicker to much to NOT do it, but Ive never tried a raider version so im intrigued. You guys think this will hold well in the Ritual league mechanic? |
