" Yea, the ranged AWs really put the clear speed on another level. I feel like I have a full blown Flame or Frost Sentinel setup on top of the normal AWs and charge generating Spectres. The single target went down quite a bit by incorporating the ranged AWs. You won't have them in endgame boss fights, and to get to the jewel socket I gave up around 20% of the damage of my melee AWs. Still more than enough though, my 18 melee AWs still phase Sirus on AL5 in like 3 seconds. And I am still missing 3-4 levels (body armour, amulet and level 21 gem). Damage will be insane when I am finished. But we knew single target would be good, and now with ranged AWs the clear speed is great too. This could turn out to be the best allrounder I have played in quite a while. And the ranged AWs work for everyone, not just the phys version. " " congrats on the kill! Did he go down quick? I am having a conqueror taunt bug so i cant progress, but hoping it gets reset overnight. Currently struggling to sustain my yellow map pool but doing them Easily. My gear is coming along ok with the cold variant. still need to fix my flasks but i keep running out of transmutes. getting about 200k dps per AW if i read pob correctly. To dos: - Cap Chaos res (currently 30% res) - More life - Get a large cluster with 8 nodes instead of 12 to save some points - not sure if i can still get 3 notables if i do that. - fix flasks - get gems to 20 or 21 - better chest - level pantheon - find another layer of defense - not sure what that would be but feels like i still get randomly 1 shot with 5k+ hp and ss/cwdt (mostly a delirium problem, which is getting fixed it looks like) Looking forward to continuing to scale up ! May I ask why do we need to :
Go back to A1 and buy as many copies of Animate Weapon as you can fit in off-hand weapon slots, and begin leveling them. What should I do with this? Maybe I miss out something in the main thread. | |

" Lilly sells the gem, too ;) ( Oriath, everywhere you find her ;) ) But, y, i level 5 in offhand, too. When done ( = level 20 ) i take one, quality to 20 ( need to check if quality does give benefit on this gem first, though ) and then vaal and hope for level 21. " It's a small thing, but the reason to buy the gems in A1 is they'll be leveled (between 11-14 or so) and if you get them from Lilly the gems will be L1. Saves a little time. |

how do you run skitterbots and hatred at the same time? i have some reduced mana reserved, i dont get it :|

^Tried this build out as a starter. Worked quite well, though I think recasting the blades feels really clunky. My main problem is probably that I am used to be able to do all content with my starters on a budget in the past.
So this surely is a great build. But I can't kill Guardians in blue maps (zana missions) with it, as the blades die and respawing them takes so much time and effort that I get killed. All in all it's a very frustrating experien, sadly. My blades die quickly while doing higher content. That combined with the clunkyness of the spell itself (resummoning them) is my biggest issue I guess. I wish skellies would still have that damage. Time to reroll. But no idea into what. |
