Cold ANIMATE WEAPON Summoner | League-Start & Leveling Guide

Hey guys been browsing through the posts but haven't been able to read any dps numbers. With a few ex investment what kind of shaper dps is this build putting out?

On your endgame example gear, just as you explain above in the gem section, you show your boots are double two linked. now if i used a 4 link will it cause these skills to work incorrectly? thanks for the guide. It was a challenge for me to transition from leveling gear to the minion support gear, but im getting there. thanks for all the info and time put into the guide.

See path of building section, getting at least 10m shaper DPS, and could be optimized further.

Great build, currently still at level 72 with bad gear and while it doesn't feel as broken as zombies last league, it's still quite good especially when killing bosses. Actually hoped that animated weapons would last longer, in some big maps I sometimes run into huge delirium packs and suddenly within 4 seconds all my weapons despawn and I am left hoping to survive with flask + flame dash spamming. Is there a way to see how much longer animated weapons last? There is a symbol next to the icon on the top left corner of the screen but no indicator as far as I see, just a dagger there showing what the majority of our weapons look like or sth like that I guess.

Also just wanted to mention here that the Youtube channel "Path of Exile Builds" did a video yesterday featuring a slightly different variation of this build without the cold convertion (Cold Iron Point dagger and Impale) but with many recommended items and almost the exact same skill tree as this one. Good that this doesn't have many mandatory uniques or jewels otherwise it might not be "LOW BUDGET" anymore in a few days.

Install the special filter of the first page. With that filter you see all the weapons in the floor to rise. I cast five weapons when enter the map and start kiling, then from time to time rise weapons from the floor and you`ll never been out of weapons anymore.

I've hit spectre level 25 (lvl 20gem, +2 from ascendancy, +1 from wand, +2 from helm) which has opened the option of a third spectre. Seems pretty redundant to add another carnage/host chieftain so what might be a good third option?
Thinking about trying to do a Block version. I can't afford a Surrender right now, I have limited play time, but until I can I was going to use Lioneye's, unless there's a better budget alternative or rare mods?

Should I toss The anvil on?

I was also thinking about putting Tempest Shield into my Wand w/ Trigger Spells, which will proc EE for me instead of needing bladefall - which feels super slow due to not being able to have Faster Casting, and needing Spell Cascade to not take forever to get my Weapons up

Do you suggest just grabbing the Sanctuary Wheel and Arcane Guarding? Should I annoint something to save points that's further away?

Lastly, thoughts on using a Minion staff? Can get some really good staff minion mods, and pretty close to block cap as well, but not sure if it's worth the sacrifice of wand/shield

Having fun so far, wish AW was a bit faster to summon them all though, even with all the buffs, still seems like an excessive amount of setup

Ruins hellions. have a empowered rallying cry cause taunted enemy's to do 30% less damage. Ultra defensive spectre.
First of all, loving the build. Its the most active summoner build I've ever played and thats a big plus. I do have a problem though...

I am pushing T16 maps now and boy, the survivability is not great. I am at 6.5k life with more than capped resists and most of the time I am running around trying to not get 1 shot.

I really feel like the build needs to pursue a more defensive direction from the get go. Getting some fortify or max block seems to be absolutely necessary and looking at the highest level AWs on ninja, all of them have multiple defensive layers.

Yes, defense is an issue. I had some success running a Doryani timeless jewel for Corrupted Soul from levels 92-94. The big extra ES helps, and along with Skin of the Loyal it's actually a huge amount (+3000 ES or so).
