EA 3.9 Ignite -- Cap Your Damage
Just finish Act 10, it's kind of pain to doing act boss with EA tbh, even with six link bow and tabula;
I feels like I do much less damage for bossing when using barrage supports, guess it's character and gem level problem, I suggest when doing boss in story/act, avoid barrage support and use combustion or gmp instead Last edited by dyh135 on Jan 2, 2020, 3:15:26 AM

I've been looking at this build the last couple of days as something to move onto after my league starter - while it is really appealing, I suspect that I personally would prefer something a bit more... robust!
So I came up with some alternative tree options in https://pastebin.com/44idvDVT - this is based on Rhaegar's original PoB (gear and all included), with additional tree's for a Scion variant (Chieftain-Pathfinder, although Chieftain-Elementalist or Inquisitor may be better options) and two Chieftain variants. The first of the Chieftain variants looks to be the most viable - it's very hard to read ignite DPS in PoB, as it's reliant on so many factors in this build (# of fuses, attack speed etc) - but on paper it looks significantly higher. The build also has substantial fire leech, life regen and higher armour for Vaal Molten Shell. There's highly likely to be more refinement possible as I haven't fiddled with gear etc. The biggest issue I can see off the top of my head is the difference in attack speeds and the impact this will likely have on stacking fuses. Has anybody else tried a similar build to this in Ascendant / Chieftain? |

" you are missing out on Ignite chance and Ignite Passives in your tree, i did the same misstake up to lvl 52 when i could equip the Dyadian belt takeing those nodes will increase the Boss damage it could take a couple of seconds to frontload all the fuses but when they get going you pretty much melt bosses in just couple of seconds |

Another question:
What's the rotation of ability use during boss-fight / map clear? Since I don't see any CWDT/CoC/CoH I assume you cast Flammability and Wave of Conviction manually? So on a boss fight do you just have the timing down and cast Wave & Flammability before unloading Barrage Supported EA or do you know the fuse timing so well you unload EA and sneak in a Wave + Flammability as it's ticking? I assume you throw down the totem before that too. For map clear... I assume you don't even bother with anything but EA on GMP. Nostrademous

As I was completely satisfied with a build but want to go delving, I would like to share some stuff for sale which can be interesting for you: - Helmet on armour base with proper suffix and immense life - More spectacular BiS boots for this build. Ballista totem, life, chaos res, MS, tailwind. Tailwind is extremely cool for us as after stacking a lot of attack speed (more than 6.2 in PoB) 10% more action speed from tailwind is a single biggest boost you can get. about the cold\light rolls, how much difference will it be if I get a higher\lower than you mentioned? (1-2 cold / 9-15 cold / 2-34 light for example)
