" I prefer cast speed over other attack mods but it is mostly up to you and your POB. This build feels rly slow without massive att. speed boost so I like it more.
" In general, it depends on what your cast speed is to begin with. If it's good enough, crit multi will give you more bang for your buck. In your specific situation, Jewel B is significantly better (spell damage isn't as impressive as it seems, while you are getting crit multi and double cast speed with the second).
Thanks for answering! I think I'll spend some time on looking for double cast speed jewels tomorrow then!

heya! absolutely killer guide - have a quick question if anyone could help me out.
can only fit in one essence worm at the moment -- is it better to go with hatred or zealotry in that case? Last edited by unclefanch on Apr 25, 2020, 11:57:39 AM

Hi Guys,
right now, I'm having a blast with this build. I invested around 60-80ex in this build and I'm kinda satisfied with the outcome. But my current problem is, everything dies fast. But so do I. Currently I'm sitting at 3,5k Life + 1.2k ES + 2.7k Mana with MoM & Clarity. Shaper DPS is @7.3mio. My current guess to optimizie everything is maybe drop some of the pure dps jewels to %life, maybe ES / CritMulti Gems. Maybe drop one worm ring for a pure stats ring? It would be nice, if anyone of you could invest 5-10 min in my Build and could criticize things I do wrong, or which Items I should swap for more survivability. PoB Link: https://pastebin.com/0U0asWNJ https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/jaegarn/characters/BalzacTemp Thanks! Last edited by jaegarn on Apr 25, 2020, 12:05:27 PM

I am pretty much pure offense also, but I do not use the dual Essence Worm setup since I sacrifice resists in other gear for more offensive and utility options. If you go with one Essence Worm, Zealotry is superior to Hatred.
" It would be helpful if you edited your Glorious Vanity to show what stats it gives (take a look at my PoB for comparison: https://pastebin.com/tnMYTaCD) A few things: 1) You don't have 1.2K ES; you have more that you are forgetting from Corrupted Soul. 2) Your Clarity MoM Watcher's Eye is not as useful as you think it is since your mana pool is so low. You are fine with 40% if you can find a better Eye. Otherwise, you will have to increase your mana to be equal to your life. 3) Your large clusters are a mess. You do not want to waste points getting all three notables. I haven't done any testing on this, but I don't think Sadist is very good. Technically, you are not shocking anyone with this build; Cold Conduction itself is applying the Shock, so I do not believe Sadist works with it. 4) You should prioritize %life on your normal jewels above all else. 5) It looks like you are not getting any optional nodes from your Glorious Vanity. You should look for at least one nearby Thaumaturgical Aptitude and/or Ritual of Stillness. 6) Shock applied by Cold Conduction is 10%, so tick that down in your config. This was just a quick look, but those are the things that jumped out at me. Last edited by RoflsALot on Apr 25, 2020, 3:17:39 PM

Ma favourite build <3
I'm sad about the ice nova visual change I hope any of the mtx available is less messy for my eyes
how do you craft 5 blue and 1 green in farrul's fur
| |
" You can use the bench craft for 3 blue and hope another 1-2 blue hits as well. Once you have 4-5 blue from that, you can use Vorici rank 3 in research from syndicate to get 1-3 white sockets on the item. Hopefully the white sockets land on the non-blue colors and you're good to go. You can buy white socket benches from other players, and in my experience it's much safer to use the poe trade discord when doing so to avoid getting scammed. |
|
Just a reminder that this build's sockets are super flexible w/r/t chest armor. You really only need 3 blue+1 red/green to run one of the 4-links, and your other two sockets can be 2xred linked (for steelskin/cwdt), or green/blue (throw clarity/precision in there), or if you're still running perfect form green/green (precision/arctic armor).
Using the crafting bench to add/remove sockets is a super easy way to get the last two colors right, as ROFLCOPTER has mentioned. You can see my sockets here (ignore my laughably unoptimized setup): https://www.pathofexile.com/account/sony/view-profile/Jaef/characters |
