I fully embraced the 0 drop gang meme because I didn't get jackshit and I only watched that for the drops, it was much better to actually read this recap thread rather than throwing my neck and be a legit viewbot for tencentggg ad revenue and boost their twitch channel.
It's funny because this will be remembered for mostly negative despite some people ignoring the fact that people will watch for whatever reason they want.. you will never force anything with your opinion here but I'm having a very good time reading how some people throw the same buzzwords over and over when they go against people that only care about drops.. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."
"The strange voice showed Aul a future where his legacy was forgotten, where new cultures broke themselves upon Aul's ruined world." Take me back when poe was the actual focus. |

First and foremost, thank you so much GGG!
The event was absolutely amazing. This is the first time I've ever watched a keynote and actually regretted not being there. The way things are going with the world in general right now, having the opportunity to hang out with a couple thousand like-minded people and just geek out over something we all love would be incredible. Honestly, even just watching it from home left me feeling refreshed and a bit more hopeful. You guys are absolutely killing it and I can't wait for 3.9! " Excellent point. What could your time possibly be worth if you spent 16 hours hoping only to receive a set of Fiery Eyes? What are they, like $3? Is this really the thing you want to very publicly make yourself look like a fool over? Some of these people will be embarrassed by these tantrums when they mature a bit. Unfortunately, many others won't. I want to say that I can't believe that they came up with a group name for themselves and even made a banner that they are proudly posting everywhere... but of course they did. It must be nice having a life where you have the time and energy to spare to get so worked up over something so trivial. For those who are still whining about this, here's an exercise for you: go up to someone who does not play this game and try explaining to them why you are so upset. If they don't either start laughing, or looking at you as if you are not all there (not that you would recognize that look as unusual, because you almost certainly get it all the time already), I will buy you some Fiery Eyes myself. |
