" Ugh one of my least favourite things is how far people even in PoE will go to scam for their own benefit, sorry you had that experience. Imo best setup for barrage is Barrage-Inspiration-Awakened Cold pen-Awakened Ele attacks-Hypothermia-Awakened added cold. Hence swap out Damage on Full Life and Ice bite for Cold pen and Added cold damage. Guaranteed you'll see vastly better results from these 2 changes alone. Tbh you should buy all your gems with level 20 and 20 quality off the bat. 20/20 Added cold is like 14c, 20/20 barrage is 30c. As of now I wouldn't worry about Awakened gems just yet, but simply swapping the barrage setup to Cold pen and Added cold AND swapping all gems (that you can budget) to 20/20 will be the way to go to kill metamorphs. 20/20 corrupted gems are very cheap so definitely aim for those. For Ice shot I suppose damage on full life can be okay since clearing is mostly done from range, I'd recommend inspiration or mirage archer, probably inspiration for now. Also means you'll have 5 inspiration stacks as soon as you get to bosses such as Promenade Cold penetration is super strong for scaling our dmg, I tested this in POB: Watcher's eye Cold pen alone is equiv to Hatred crit chance + attack speed precision, even with attack speed being super valuable as you get better gear. So I'd also suggest you change annointment to Heart of Ice for pandemonius. Also use turbulent catalysts and the attack damage catalysts for Pande, mark of the elder. For 3.5-4ex you can get the added cold/cold pen watcher's eye jewel which should cover you so far it would be the last upgrade once you get everything else. The increase in damage won't be reflected in the tooltip but make no mistake it's beefy (check pob for the true numbers). Chuck the divines you find on your hyrri's ire, you've got some low rolls on it rn so any reroll most likely will be much better Last edited by gawddawg on Feb 16, 2020, 10:13:56 PM

" In POB, without pandemonius and heart of ice, cold pen is ever slightly weaker for barrage than added cold, but for ice shot it's a sizeable difference of 150k dps in favour of cold pen. With pandemonius + heart of ice(30% cold pen), added cold is still quite a bit ahead for barrage but equally behind for Ice shot yet again. Given the main concern is single target/barrage these days, added cold would edge above as solo mod WE, so i'll edit that in the prior post. Hence, given they are both 3-4ex the winner would be added cold on the watcher's eye. i wonder, if you use bottled faith, could you skip the "x% crit chance while affected by hatred" watcher eye?
Tooltip in my hideout for iceshot is 57% without any flask buffs/charges. If that is the case i would look for a cold damage watcher eyes (if bottled faith might go down in price) Tried the build it against most bosses/guardians (expect the eradicator, this guy is worse than sirius) and it works pretty well. You have to know the encounter, since you are just one hit away from a oneshot. Im following the mapping skilltree, since im playing standard and can take my time. Current gear:

Hi guys! I really like this build but i am currently stuck and i find it very difficult to clear the Conquerors on AL6, Sirus and even Atziri. I have around 4.7k life but i get one-shots a lot, especially from the big bosses and my damage feels still a bit low.
Any ideas on what to improve next with a limited budget? I can't find a good quiver with power charges (i am on PS4) and i still haven't unlocked the mod from Jun to craft it myself. Maybe a better amulet too? | |
" Getting 6 linked death opus and hyrri’s ire should be your priority, change your flasks to normal quicksilver, get atziri promise and lucky crit potion, get remove bleeding curse and freeze on them. Quiver with frenzy charge generation would be the next step to upgrade your gear, preferably with bows fite an additional arrow. Then u should get the enchant „barrage fires an additional projectile” but this might be a bit pricey. Im honestly suprised u managed to get to al6 with this gear. Im writing this on my phone so i might have missed a few things here and there but hopefully i helped you Some items in this post are currently unavailable.

Hi, I'm having some troubles with boss dps rn, like, I copied the build and it was with like zdps then I saw a poe.ninja build and tried to copy, it is better now but still meh for t16 bosses, like, take more than 20sec to kill them, and I die alot, but that's not the problem rn, https://pastebin.com/nJYnXvy1 my PoB, can someone help me with that?
