3.14 KING OF ALL SUMMONERS. Zombies & Skeletons & Spectres on STEROIDS! | League-Start to End-Game

Did i miss something or I JUST realized your character is in Standard and you're not even playing the League. Not sure if the skill tree is updated with those choices of cluster ? Seems like i just wasted my time (this is my first time ever to try a necro build). Deleting those boss is pure no brainer for any builds with awakened gems but monsters from Delirium is just another story.

Hey,

Why Mistress of sacrifice instead Commander of darkness? Now we don't have ES from offering so why bother?

Many reasons:
Mistress is far more flexible. Change your offerings depending on what you are doing.

Spirit offering gives +22 to all res AND chaos resistance. We also get 30% MORE damage as chaos damage.

Commander gives 30% resistances but NO chaos res. Commander also gives increased damage not more damage.

Bone offering is great for block if you have your res capped elsewhere.

Flesh offering is great for speed farming.

The extra 8% to all res from commander of darkness (compared to spirit offering) can easily be made up elsewhere.

Overall summary.
People struggling with choosing ascendancies.
Ppl kinda lost with budget\newbee setup coz we lost ES boosts, so maybe geofri is not really good for newbee setup... i have like 1k ES LOL now.
I`ve capped my res right now BUT i`m still haven`t buy belt and astramentis.
When i buy them, i must buy a good rings, and then i might have a problem with resistances in newbee section =-|
Also a newbee gear setup is kinda expencive. Astramentis 40c, belt 60c, abyss jewel 60c, training jewels 25c ea, plus 2 jewellers touch to 5l staff and chest... ALSO anoint... 1 silver oil = ~40c
Currently i`m slowly running T2-T5 maps, accumulate some currency to buy belt and astramentis.
Aslo a bit struggling with skill three, coz i haven`t anoint and pick indomitable army too =) my three is kinda mashed up between leveling, newbee and budget.
My character must be open, if someone want to see my three or gear.

Ok...first thing. League is out for barley 5 days now. The cluster jewels are new and bound to RNG. Yes the build might not be the best meta slave for delirium FOR NOW. That goes along with a dozen other builds. The monsters kill HC players as easy as Softcore players.

This build can work in delirium, but necro got alot of major nerf in 3.10 and most people need to adapt and adjust their builds to the new mechanics.
If you looked at the build and thought "well, seems easy doing a necromancer" you are wrong. We are more squishy than before and the damage got gutted from baron changes.
I'm capped on resist using commander of darkness instead of bone offering, running discipline and switching out to purity for ele weakness maps. I'm at 8k EHP and still die in delirium lol.
I thought of a chest using "to maximum numbers of zombies" prefix

https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Delirium/wgwRTb

This could provide a stable solution to a tanky armor build with 13 instead of 12 Zombies (if you stack atleast 1000 strength)

My setup for chest would be:

Pride – generosity support – dread banner

purity of elements --- enlighten --- determination

You would possible need a astramentis as amulet to get the intelligence for purity of elements

is it worth replacing impale support gem with the new cluster jewel with 20% impale chance on hit? so i can use the gem slot for another damage gem?
Is this is a good build for xbox and its limited marketplace? I'm thinking of diving back into the game when the league starts tomorrow.

for weapons - In limbo I've found myself using a shield just for extra stats.... if I wanted to keep a one hander would the scourge work?

I was thinking of picking up some more minion 12% life nodes and removing some of the user 5% life nodes... since the scourge modifiers count towards the player this should be a huge boost right?
Trying out necromancer first time.

I sort of like it, but it's so much micromanagement and what started out as sort of budget build, does seem to not really cut it, you gotta spend a lot to be able to withstand high red maps and most notably Delirium.

It's without a doubt better then any melee builds I ran on a low budget, but looking into the high budget I have doubt it's gonna be worth it, it just doesn't seem to ramp up enough damage for Delirium mostly that on top of the fact that if your zombies get wiped, your Delirium is instantly bricked. (Btw absolutely alpha league mechanic, buggy, overtuned, terrible for PC performance).

Back to build itself, I've been trying out couple things here and there, I don't think you can afford to build anything but tanky version and even that is not budget really, that ontop the fact that it performs barely average in Delirium mechanic.

I only wanted to try out this build because of league starter, the way mechanics of league work and arguably how broken they are I don't think any summon build is good, mobs simply are too tough and survive too long and have good chance to wipe your zombie/AG/Spectres. The fact that it can't really push high tier red maps comfortably with mid-budget anymore makes all the micro-management and hassle along way with summoning build not all that worth it.

Really curios to see development of this build, currently I feel like rerolling and building mid/high budget zoomer over this.
