Some levelling tips many might know already but here we go:

*To get a +1 Socketed Minion Gems Helmet:
You need to trade a Life flask of Animation + any magic (blue ;) )helmet + 1 Orb of Alteration.
Craft the flask of Animation by trading a life flask + a bone spirit shield of any rarity + 1 Orb of Transmutation.

*Movement Speed Boots:
White Boots + Orb of Augmentation + Quicksilver flask

*To survive Merveils fight better:

1x Iron Ring
1x blue skill gem

Gives Sapphire ring (20-30Cold Res)

*To get 4 Wisdom Scrolls
1x Blacksmith's Whetstone (not that you are needing them anyway)


Movement speed boots can be upgraded each time using the same recipe and existing MS boots upto 30% MS

Guys, I'm kinda new to both poe and this build. I want to try this build this league. But reading all the comments I'm getting confused and probably I'm not the only one.

Can you please give me/us some guidance (or som educated guesses) what to change in the original setup?

For example passives, no changes there just go as original tree? Or is it too early to say anything?

is nice . Youre ending with 30lvl zombies Thats a serious boost both on damage plus zombies survivability .

Yes that's correct, the main skellies are physical and mage's oviously not.
You can get https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Dead_Reckoning which will allow for more mages summoned.

Hi, at the moment the changes to do are not clear but if you follow the "levelling section" of the build and the "Setup 4) Budget and Newbies Setup" I think you can have smooth sailing into the new league.

Then keep an eye on this build guide for the main changes in passives and equip alternatives (I hope that in 2/3 days things will be clear) :)
Don't worry too much because if the build will result as unplayable (which I think is not that case) you can easily switch to other playstyles (like golems or animate weapons) who are still OP or seems to be Op for next league.

geofri’s sanctuary went untouched so I don’t think there is a compelling reason to move away from it. Even at only 1K strength you still get incredible amounts of base ES, and ES is much better than block or evasion.

I don’t think these changes make any difference until you start gearing and respec-ing for end game. Just take lots of minion nodes early and play a little cautiously and you will be fine.
I am a returning player and i was looking at this guide for quite a time. I have come to the conclusion that this will be my league starter. Clearing speed looks good despite the nerfs and playstyle is enjoyable at least to me. It may not be the beast that was in the previous versions but still i think it will perform well in combination with cluster jewels. Congratulations on creating a thorough guide. Missed a few posts from others, so ill try to summarize;

The people interested in Bamper's Stone Golems, its difficult to league start b/c the build needs roughly 10 primordial jewels to function and the tree is basically just sockets so even though the build is very cheap to gear and kill shaper/elder/sirus with, its a difficult league starter.

Asfar as what im doing today and going forward, not alot different, if you liked playing the build the way I did in metamorph the only changes are going to be > life/armor based rather then hybrid based.

The only gems that are going to be different for me are going to be my auras, I will be running pride as before, flesh and stone however I will be staying in sand stance for the extra blind and ranged mitigation, aspect of the crab, and dread banner.

I am going with this skill tree to start and will adjust later on when we know more about the voice jewel and clusters;

As I said, everything else will be pretty much the same, if you started playing this build the last month of metamorph I basically just ran a very simple, purely 1 handed version that eliminated the need for any movement skill or extra buttons. I can honestly say it was popular b/c over 25 people in the thread that I know of copied it and kept in touch with me throughout the end of the league.

2H Weapon: Raise Zombie/Empower/Minion Damage/Impale/Multistrike/Melee Physical Damage

The Baron: AG/Raise Spectre/Min. Life/Blood Magic

Crab Chest: Cyclone/Infused Channeling Suport/Cast while Channeling/Desecrate/Spirit Offering/Maim Support

High Armor+Life+Resist Gloves: Enlighten/Pride/Flesh and Stone/Dread Banner

The Stampede Assassin Boots: Empower/Feeding Frenzy/Summon Holy Relic/Summon Carrion Golem

Neck: Astramentis / Rings: Rares with T1 STR/Life/Resists / Belt: Rare with STR/Increased Attributes/Life

Jewels: x2 Efficient Training socketed in top center and just to left of witch start point / Watchers Eye / 1 flex spot open

(Spectres are Mervils Retainer and x2 Carnage Chieftan - Mervils for the Lv50 Vulnerability just like before, and Carnage Chieftans for Frenzy Charges)
