My bad, simply overlooked that skill on the elder weapon -.-

I got on this bandwagon way too late it seems. I just started this build (defensive version) maybe couple of weeks ago on SSF and boy do I wish I had farmed up that glove in advance. I do have a Baron so that's intact at least.

That said, is it a good idea to swap out my skills/ascendancies as followed for 3.10?


- Shaper's touch -> something with offensive flavor
- Spirit Offering ->Flesh Offering or Bone Offering
- Mistress of Sacrifice -> Commander of Darkness
- Bone Barrier -> Unnatural Strength

I'm losing a lot of defense but you gotta dance with death sometimes right?

Just want to remind everyone that when I first started this build we did NOT use Mistress of Sacrifice OR Spirit Offering and we kicked ass just fine :)

The cyclone and spirit offering combo we implemented just made us stupidly OP.

No but then monsters weren't as buffed or as deadly as they are now and soon going to be!
So start of league is going to be a bit of suck it and see what happens.
Fingers crossed the playstyle benefits our minions and we find new ways of scaling them.

Definitely but the point is that defensively we were fine, as that is what is going to hurt us the most in 3.10 as we have got so used to the luxury of the Spirit Offering and Mistress if Sacrifice combo.

Levelling is SO easy. Just SRS+Skellies both in 2B+1R should do the trick while levelling up zombies gem a bit. Zombies are a pain until they get some minion life nodes and levels. I´d say until level 24-30.

Good news, but for those of us with less IQ points than challenges completed, would you care to expand on this a little ?

Levels 4-12 Get 2B+1R Staff and 2B+1R Chest/Boots/Helmet or (preferably)Wand 1R+2B and Shield, so that you can have:

A-Minion damage, Melee splash, Summon Raging spirit

B-Minion damage, Melee splash, Summon Skeletons

If you cannot get a 2B+1R and can get a 3B item somewhere...

Minion damage, Infernal Legion, Summon Raging spirit

and...

Minion damage, Infernal Legion, Summon Skeletons

Meanwhile, level up Raise Zombie gem elsewhere.

BTW to everyone who thinks it got nerfed too hard, it didn't. Str stacking CI got hit like crazy to the point of being a pretty useless build but hybrid version should still be great.

The only thing you have to overcome is regen. One interesting way is maybe using a devouring diadem seeing as the baron is kinda meh value. You gain 4000 es and 4000 life every 5 seconds which should be plenty to sustain. You will be able to use more auras too because of the mana reservation. Not sure how the mechanics work in terms of a trigger wand, desecrate, feast of flesh and an offering. Depending on the order in which they cast it might mess up the regen from the helm but its something to look into.
