just got beaten by Minotaur (absolutely smashed actually) used all portals up and wasnt able to kill him..
It was suggested earlier that my build was lacking and i have adjusted almost everything to what i can afford. Can anyone tell me why Minotaur is hitting so damn hard?? |

" Will always be dependant on map mods, Minotaur is a hard boss and should never be underrated. If he had extra life/phys damage reduction, those two mods alone means he will take far longer to kill and more importantly more chance to hit you hard especially with his Burrow attack or lightning wall debuff https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Guardian_of_the_Minotaur He's one you either can tank or simply kite him all the time, usually I die because of map mods that benefit Minotaur. One thing I've found that really has helped me is the Blind Nearby Enemies armour my AG wears plus Flesh/Stone aura. |

Dropped like 20-25ex on divines to hit up my belt and right ring for better rolls. (Only payed in chaos, mostly 6l items or small quantity purchases for 22c or less, so I had a lot).
Almost prefect roll on my ring (1ES off), and my belt could be better but its roughly 80 divines every time I want to hit a similar roll, so maybe I'll look into that in standard down the road. Main thing is I hit my goal of over 7k life, and 8k ES w/out spirit offering, and 17.8k ehp total with spirit offering, without losing damage. Only thing left for me to do is throw my last couple geofri's into the double corruption cooker and pray for something with + to skills, +2 aura, or +2 aoe on a 30% qual high rolled geofris. Feelin so tanky now, I'll try to pop on cloud gaming (as my comp sucks too hard to record normally) and get some footage soon :) If I do the 98-99 grind, I will break 18k ehp quite nicely. " Amazing build! Seems like everything you did was based around getting as many jewel sockets as possible plus some key notables to maximize you strength from the tree. Who would have thought that this build could be so strong without auras and and so many notables. Your gear is insane though! It’s crazy that you were able to do all this in one league. Could you make a crafting guide for the wands? |

" I have long said that builds like the pure phys skeletons is OP because it’s no gear, our build is a huge huge investment that even after many many exalts is far from a calkwalk build. Ok if they nerf Baron to be 1200 str and 400 per extra zombie I would be sad but understand but anymore than that and they are just telling us that no one should be able to ‘complete’ the game or get 40 challenges. Some ideas that I can see GGG will try to achieve this: 1) Nerfing more the base dmg of minions that they get from lvls, so you need to invest a lot more in crafting items to get the same dmg. Maybe they will nerf the extra lvls of minion gems from the ascendency as well. I think they will hit hard Skelletons for sure, and maybe Zombies will get another nerf in how they get more dmg per gem lvl. In theory that will force to craft a rare weapon to get into late game instead of using Queen's Decree or Femur of the Saint without problems, even in a 5 link. 2) Nerfing support gems specially impale, this will upset a lot of people since outside of Feeding Frenzy and Minion Damage the support gems are used by a lot of build and nerfing them will hurt the variety in the meta, making summoners still over powered since other builds gets hit hard, in top of being able to look for elemental damge instead of physical if the nerf to that dmg type are big enough. 3) Changing some unique items, maybe Baron. I think that unique is really strong and cheap and in fact almost 70% of what makes zombie build strong. Maybe they make the increased in zombie numbers harder to hit (need 100 more strength for example) or removing/reducing the leech from zombies at 1k Strength. Other possible nerf will be Saqawal's Nest to make harder to have multiple auras at the same time. I doubt they touch Geofri's or Shaper's Touch since that items are used by other builds that stack attributes. Unfortunately Geofri's and Shaper's are on the nerf list too, they mentioned that in the chat
I agree with what you said, skellies are deffo op for no gear, but zombies you need to spend 8-10 ex just for the decent weapon. |
