But glad to see that we have some data that can likely be relied upon - modulo some sort of unanticipated probablility formula actually in use by GGG.

As an aside...

I find it remarkable that the datamined values are - I'm guessing, unless POEDB somehow has access to sever-side code - available at all - presumably datamined from client-side code.

Client-side crafting outcomes (if that's what's actually going on) seems fraught with the potential for mischief - and if the calculation is actually done sever-side, why does the client contain this data?

Bug? Sloppy coding? Non-optimal build process?... Who knows?...

Since we're discussing crafting, this can be easily crafted with minimal RNG at less than 5ex. The damage it gives is 25% less than the ideal weapon. I used a staff base because the implicit is actually useful.

I’m confused why you went that route. An Elder staff can grant Fortify as a 7th link at the cost of minion damage/life craft, and regular staves can give +2 to spell gems instead of +1 to socketed. I suppose it’s cheaper only going 1 stat. I agree the implicit is very useful, and when crafting my mace it seemed +2 to melee gems came up more often than +1 to socketed, so I don’t know how a staff would have compared.

i hit this on my 1st divine:

Enduring Cry is pretty good for generating endurance charge. With 20% quality, it pretty much covers more than the entire screen. Only cost 1 gem slot for permanent 3 endurance charge sounds pretty good for me. Also, we can take Endurance node for extra 5% strength if Lethal pride gets that.

+4 endurance charge for 16% physical reduction for only 1 gem slot sounds pertty good. I find it really useful in deeper delve level.
