[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

Would you be able to summarize the ways you think the recent pathfinder changes will affect this build? I'm really excited to check this build out as it looks really solid but just curious as to your initial reaction to the changes and your expectations for the build moving forward. Thanks!

Well overall PF was nerfed. We get more damage on average next league (mostly because of loss of master surgeon we can now pick actually good offensive PF nodes lul) but sustain was lost so the build is gonna rely on life flask + leech mostly again (what is fine, just not as good as surgeon). The 20% flask effect barely offsets the 6% reduced damage taken, if even but its gonna give some movespeed so that is somewhat nice. And transcendence is going to be giga broken so that is the main endgame focus im trying to PoB rn. If I can somehow enable transcendence for this build for endgame without losing too much damage its going to be insane, if not oh well.

Also pathfinder league start is going to be so much tankier due to buffed Cloak of Flame, equip that + tri ele flasks and you are golden on mitigating most of incoming damage already. Need to see rest of buffed uniques still and patch notes but it isnt as bad as it looks like I think. But its definitely overall nerf, dont think any version of SA this league is going to be as strong as Sentinel Ward + Melding setup. But without recombinators Ward setup is pretty much dead again so we just move on back to normal damage scaling I guess.

Cloak of Flame buff is good but what concerns me that with it we loose 3% max ele resist which with nerfed "melding" result in 6-7% loss.

Anyways we still have to wait full patch notes, we received major nerfs already so next should be buffs part

Well yea I am most likely dropping Melding completely next league, unfortunately with the -4% max res nerf only shield builds can use it to its full potential now. And its a lot of investment to just go to like 86-ish max res on non-shield. Also ubers already had a lot of pen so I think at like low-medium defense investment it will be best to just scale flask efect for tri ele flasks together with cloak of flame (or hell even good old lightning coil) and then move to Divine Flesh and if I manage to PoB half decent Transcendence PoB then maybe Transcendence.

Alright so I did some more pobbing and the divine flesh version looks fairly comparable to current 90% max res melding version in terms of max hit. It solves lack of on hit recovery with anomalous arctic armour that has similar effect when mapping and the damage is similar as well. Big bonus is that Divine Flesh is amazing against penetration because there are some massive sources of pen on new uber bosses but divine flesh makes that non-issue. Its around same investment as the max flask effect scaling version while being much tankier (the difference is mostly grabbng different body implicit and small clusters). So I think Divine Flesh will become main version of the build once again, yay!

I will still need to finish other trees etc (and also obviously wait for patch notes etc or at least for reveal) but this will most likely be very close to final version for next league (other than possible Transcendence setup but I never had good luck with trying to fit in Transcendence for SA beause the pathing to iron reflexes is abysmal but i need to take it for transcendence to work).

I'm planning similar build for league start, but with Iron Reflexes, Petrified Blood and Lifetap everywhere.
I've been using anomalous Caustic Arrow Ballistas for single target, but your Siege Ballista setup is way better. Unfortunately I can't fit Glorious Vanity into my tree, but even with Withering Touch I get more than twice DPS than before. Thanks a lot!

Do totems benefit from action speed eldritch implicit? POB only shows movement speed increase. There is Hunter mod for 20% poison duration and 15% faster poison.

I've watched your "Siege Ballista only clearing" video, looks decent. Aqueducts are narrow, how us"Ballista only clear" feeling in opened layouts? I'm thinking of dropping Scourge Arrow completely, to lazy to shoot.

Also can you share your music playlist? :D

Well glorious vanity is more than worth the point investment as saving whole link is shitton of damage but fair.

And no ballistas dont benefit from action speed its mostly just for faster summoning + mobility.

Yea siege ballista clearing is alright but you have to gem swap so its pain. I tried to farm some crimson temples with siege this league and its definitely decent but the gem swap is annoying.

And for my playlist i dont rly have one i just search for whatever genre i am in mood for atm and then just let youtube play stuff in a row :D but most often its like stuff from 2000s, rock/punk-rock etc (but also some random stuff from around 2000s in general as that is music i grew up on so i just like it :d).

Flagellant prefix is getting nerfed from 7 charges to 3. So yea, kinda.

The huge nerf to flagellant flasks (7 -> 3) essentially means master surgeon recovery gets cut by 60%.
