[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

So in this "bow" league the build actually lost 10% of damage from Added Chaos Damage. The 35% inc damage while ballista is up is also gone so its slightly more and the replacement proj speed -> damage mastsery is worse as we have no proj speed really. Better quiver implicit might partially fix that, not completely, but still, we are getting short end of stick once again. The phasing mastery is also gone so back to getting phasing from jewel without any movespeed. Or just grab worse source from tree.

waiting for uptade 3.17 want start this :D
How was this as a starter in 3.16?

I've played it a few times before (like 3.13, 3.15) and loved it. But i wussed out of trying it in 3.16 due to the passive changes, felt like it lost a lot of damage and a lot of tankiness with the dodge removal.

Was it still a solid build?

Tempted to try it out again for 3.17

If going ward stacking still, don't you think that potential added power from double implicits will outweigh the damage loss. As far as I'm aware, Helm, Boots as well as chest should all be non-influenced.

Hmm you have a point. But also I dont think build can continue in that direction sadly because then we have no defenses and also no way to really get them. I was hoping ranger area will be improved so we can stay with ward stacking but ward bases have basically no defensive affixes or anything and we still dont have any good replacement for wind dancer and acro.

I made this potential version for next league that is focused more on survivability (back to Strength of Blood + Petrified Blood, 90% max res, 100% phys as ele/chaos):

https://pastebin.com/p9C36u9a

I think even though compared to ward stacking we lost around 40% of damage, the phys EHP is like 5-10 times higher and ele ehp is also *consistently* higher (160k without any temporary buffs up what can already almost tank maven memory game, add steelskin or immortal call on top and you can actually tank it).

Yeah, I was hoping they'd revisit Ward this patch instead of leaving it dead because it has potential. I think I'm gonna try going Poison Conc into Scourge Arrow once I have some gear this league.

Wishful thinking is for the new boss jewels not being insanely overpriced and get Quartz Infusion from raider to cap Spell Suppression and get perma phasing. I would also probably run determinance instead of grace and purity of elements instead of malevolence to get ailment immunity. Then with claw mastery's crit immune, petrified blood and chaos res cap with Divine Flesh I'd imagine that could be enough survivability. But once again, depends on how hard it is to get spell suppression capped.

Playing around the max res sounds like a bit of a pain ngl :D

Yea same. Im very dissapointed in this patch, especially when they were even focusing on bows, and they did not even touched ranger are or anything else rly.

I think the ascendancy jewels will be rly expensive (voices tier) so def sounds like wishful thinking :d

Actually thanks to the new jewel (melding of flesh) getting 90% max res is quite easy. Not as easy as getting divine flesh but so much stronger. You basically just need 40% total aura effect (either from grabbing supreme ego or getting it on body), +3 max res gloves, +2 max res quiver. And then just grab phys taken as ele somewhere. Lethal pride is amazing for this for example as it can roll 5% phys taken as fire on small, so getting a lot of phys taken as ele is pretty easy even without phys taken as on gear.

Is this playable as a pure ballita build? For example, replacing mirage archer with the ballista totem support, taking the watchtower passive on tree etc.?
whats defence this build have? i see 10k evasion only?

No reason to play it as pure ballsta build, focused ballista is broken.

Petrified Blood, Divine flesh.

But I am working on new defenses for next league.

Small preview. Yes its 80% life from tree. But look:

This can tank basically anything that exists in the game rn including maven memory game.

But it requires the new Melding of Flesh jewel.

Also thanks to the new defenses im considering going back to double cluster setup to fix damage as life from tree isnt super important with all the mitigation
