[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

In the 'Craft your own gear' section, the quiver base suggestion is Penetrating: Arrows Pierce an additional target.

Scourge arrow has: Arrows pierce all targets.

Whats the mechanic here? Does scourge arrow pierce mod only apply to initial arrow and not thorn arrows? If it does apply to thorn arrows, then why Penetrating base, it would be redundant then?
I'm in ssf and I just alch'ed a 6 link imperial bow that has T1 added chaos dmg, 16% attack speed(1.68) and crafted 30% chaos DoT.

The bow I already had was a thicket bow with tier 1 chance to poison/Inc. Dmg with poison, 18% attack speed (1.77) and crafted 30% chaos DoT.

When I checked in PoB, the imperial bow had 50k less dmg(in PoB I'm looking at Total dps Inc. Poison) compared to the Thicket bow which confused me a lot. Although it's not a lot of difference in dps, I thought that the T1 added chaos dmg will make that bow far superior. But apparently not... or is PoB bugged?

After you are done with leveling switch to Scourge Arrow setup. This will cost also around 14 regrets, but you should get that from quests anyway.

Possibly a silly question but where do I find/see this "Scourge Arrow setup"?

In the pastebin that is in thread.

SA pierces by default so yes it do not neds the pierce. I need to update the crafting section at some point.

Hey all,

Love the build and since upgrading some gear (e.g. the poison mod bow), my dps has been very nice. However, I seem to die relatively often on T14-16's. Sometimes on groups of mobs that seem to stun, sometimes on bosses. Can anyone give some tips on what to improve first in my setup?

Seems Pastebin is still down, so sharing PoB code through: https://controlc.com/0c9960be, or you can check my profile.

Thanks in advance!

Since you (and me) play evasion version we have no physical mitigation from armour. When we do not evade/dodge we take big hits. Wind dancer helps but alone it is not much.

Best way to fix that is either roll STR stacking version + armour, or mitigate as much physical as possible when on evasion.

If evasion you are forced to get cap chaos res or go even highter with Divine Flesh and cluster jewels, and then stack "xx% physical damage taken converted to chaos damage" . Darkcorn + chest prefix form HUnter gives you 40%.

Next you get this flask and enchant on your amulet Hardened Scars for perma fortify.

Then aim for 6k life and you should rarely die. If I played more carefull and stopped doing stupid shit I would be probably 97 right now just from doing maps/contracts.
Hi thedeathbeam, I see your skill tree is currently different from PoB aberrant's version. Is it better or you are just experimenting? Also, is survivability ok with 4.7k hp only?

Also, you are using Call to arms which makes wc instant and anomalous warcry which reduces the cast speed. Isn't it better to use divergent with 40% reduced Cooldown Recovery Rate plus 20% increased Buff Effect then?
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.

Well I rolled *really* good Lethal Pride with total 10% increased strength and 10% fortify effect. I think the bottom position is better if you want ore damage because there are at least 7 notables you can hit good stuff on.

I am using anomalous warcry mostly because that is what I used before I had call to arms. You dont want reduced CDR, reduced CDR means longer cooldown not shorter one btw.

EDIT: Also my current hp is 5.1k and yes survivability is more than fine.

Also, huge build update!::

- Reworked crafting section and added craftofexile links
- Reworked Navigating through PoB section
- Added Build Variations section
- Build variation section now has ratings for different power areas for each build so it should be a lot easier to decided what kind of variation you want to run
- Replaced gloves in Warpath variation with Meginord's Wise

This is mostly build guide rework and not actual build setup rework. But this should make the different build variations *a lot* easier to follow.

Cool, thanks for the update!
I wonder why Alberans version got only 6/10 for clear speed with that huge damage numbers.
