I always end up a bit all over the place wasting my currency.
I have some currency now so I can start sorting it out a bit.
Plan so far:
New body, gloves and maybe quiver to hit the resistances and a bit more health and strength.
Refund the resistance passives move them to the cluster jewels.
Get better cluster jewels
Get better mods on flasks
Get enhanced gem and sort gems out
Is that about right I expect to be missing something glaringly obvious haha
Sounds about right. Except I would put flasks onn first spot, you are pathfinder after all, they are important, same with alt quals, or at least withering step alt qual + enhance, and same with sorting the gems out.

So i'm going for the Chainbreaker / Hardened Scars tree. Is it possible to just use a hybrid flask and get rid of the -15 mana cost chest in order to have fortify buff 100% uptime? Thanks for the great guide, really helped me out the past week

Of course. But hybrid enduring flask will have a lot less mana recovery than hybrid foreboding so that is where - mana cost chest starts to be valuable.

doing this as a third build this league. this may have been answered, but which alternate quality gems should we grab?
Anomalous withering step - extra wither stacks
Divergent scourge arrow - extra thorn arrows, good for consistency
Anomalous/Divergent plague bearer - anomalous for MS, divergent is huge for divine flesh
cast speed endu cry - idr which one but its big qol boost
+10 min power urgent orders - idr which one is this again, I think divergent, very good as well, basically ensures you always have endus
There are probs more that i am forgetting but these are the most important/best ones.
I think you meant Anomalous SA - that's the 11 pods, divergent is 20% dmg instead of proj speed
