Who said no one should have it? I've read that we're giving criticism, on a feedback forum btw, to give them insight on things that are going on to try to fix this game that we enjoy playing. Someone simply said that if the game wasn't ready, it shouldn't have been released at that time, and I agree. It needs more optimization for older ps4 consoles. Stop trying to discredit people's opinions with nonsense... especially considering you have "400 hours of playtime" and you have one level 85 character. I'm sure you didn't play flashback or even push harder end game content to know what we're talking about.

You guys clearly aren't thinking about what the game is doing. Name one other game that's literally performing a dozen different functions just to check your damage. Then doing that dozens of times over for every enemy you hit. Then loading hundreds of models for equipment and their stats littering the ground. Then getting all the enemies models/animations/stats. Because literally no game has ever attempted to do half of what this game is doing.

And R4mp you just stated it's a minimal increase, that the GPU is complete trash, and posted a video showing Xbox is running a lot worse. When this was clearly about Playstation.

Clearly none of you guys understand how games function at all. It's incredible they got this running almost completely properly in the first place.

Are you saying that there is no room for improvement and we should just deal with the current performance issues until better HW is available? Most people complaining here love the game and support it, they just want GGG to prioritize optimizing the console port. Chris Wilson himself admitted they're not happy with the state of the console version, and said that they love angry threads in one of the Baeclast podcasts. Angry gamers are passionate gamers afterall. So why are YOU so against it?

There is something really weird going on with you. You are changing the context of what I wrote to fit your narrative. I have an OPINION about the performance of this game on PS4. I am sharing that opinion in as objective a way as I possibly can. You implied that the game is "complex" therefore complaints about the performance are not legitimate. This is a straw-man argument on your part, and my response was intended to point that out. It was not intended as meaning "No one else should play the game because I'm unhappy with the performance". Stop putting words in my mouth. If you are happy with the performance, good for you, but I am not. I've invested serious hours into this game and every unfair lag death and crash rubs me up the wrong way.

I played this on the XBox One X last season and I had no such complaints. Maybe it was the build I played, maybe it was the different platform, or the different season. I don't know for sure, but there are serious and genuine issues with the PS4 version, I didn't just come here because I wanted to start a fight.

I've listened to Chris on some Youtube vids and I have to say I really like the guy. He seems smart and dialed in. He knows where he wants the game to go and he seems like a guy who wants to learn from their past mistakes. My comments aren't personal. The worst thing that can happen to this game is not people like me with the gumption to call GGG out, it is the people who just leave the game and go play something else. Most of my online friends complain about the crashes and lag, none of them take the time to come here and post about it. They will simply vote with their wallet and go play something else. I don't want that to happen. I think this game is the best thing I've played in many years (since Oblivion/Elder Scrolls/Fallout). I want the PS4 version to run better, so I can keep enjoying what I think is a brilliant game with my friends who I very much enjoy spending time with.

I'm sure all your whining is gonna go a long way in helping them do what they're already working on anyways. Also this isn't giving feedback, you're bashing someone else's. Edit again: I just came back to finish up reading these. I didn't put words in your mouth, I quoted your posts exactly, you were blatantly saying that graphics are the issue. I'm like 85% sure that even if they went to PS2 level graphics there would still be the same stuttering and frame drops there are now. And angry threads aren't the same as just complaining about their skill at making games. I'm pretty sure he was referring to people getting pissed and starting arguments about balance changes, and those sorts of things.

I wouldn't bash on GGG if they would atleast aknowlegde the problems this game is in but they don't and thats the problem. The "Known Issue" - Thread didnt got touched in months, guess the game doesnt have "Issues". They are simply denying and newer players will see this ("No Known Issues, advertised as 60FPS must be a good working game) (and no its not 60fps in endgame ffs) play the first hour (where the performance is fine and a bluescreen is unlikely" and buy something in the shop just to witness the game is in in the following hours. Its shady don't even try to come with some excuse to me.

Every sticky in the console section is outdated and I'm not talking about a week or a month.. the Xbox Sticky haven't been touched in 1 year. Stop being lazy, its not that much work to put into updating a freaking thread.

Here is some fact:

You dont need another company to make a similar game to see that PoE on PS4 is broken, stop the excuse "no one else is doing it so stop hating". Imagine Sony being the only console developer and you recieve a broken console which shuts down every few hours caused by a heat problem but you didn't noticed it when trying the console out in the mall you think its ok to say "lol dude, noone else is doing a console, deal with it"? If a product a broken it needs to be adressed and it DOESN't matter if someone has done something like this before or not.

They are addressing it, at a humanly possible level. You know they make new content, balance things, and have actual lives right? You're just as capable of fixing the game as the are, why don't you rip the game and fix it yourself if it's so easy?

They are not adressing it - no "Known Issues" post about it. Its not "humanly" to not do it, that sentence is dumb. Yes I know that they make "new content" and "balance" but I've never wrote anything else or said that is bad in fact I said post (over one month ago) that the performance should have higher priority (guess you didnt make you homework, do it next time before making a fool out of yourself). Why am I capable of fixing the game? Have I missed something? Im not a developer and I didn't say its easy but when a company doesn't manage to get the console version in a state where it doesn't crash in TWO years it is fair to say that they a either not capable of doing it (any dont aknowlegde it) or they take too long.

Man everytime you post something you make a fool out of yourself, GGG loves you they could sale you their toilett and you will smell on it and say "wow the passion you put into it, i love it".

One tip, spec more into intellence and avoid the evasion nodes in life.

Can you read "imagine" its an example you know what an example is? Dismiss what I said before.. go for the big INT nodes arround the duelist area, you are in need for it.

That's what the internet is for though. You only get on the internet to fight with people, make dumb statements or, observe those happening.

It hasn't been two years either, it's been two months. They said they hadn't been doing much for Xbox since they were working on the PS port, and now that they were done they were gonna put a little more focus on console performance.
