[3.10] Ice Golem Golemancer Build -DELIRIUM-BALANCED- ALL CONTENT -Everything Dies-Huge Damage
" I'm pretty sure that it placed in just "update". Not old one, at that time "ascendancy jewel" still wasn't being used. But i get your point. Although, I don't think that anyone ever miss "update" thing in the guide, usually it's the most vital part containing differences between leagues. Without it you basically looking at old version several leagues behind, so I don't think it's easy to miss. I agree on the notion of adding it into pob section though. |

If someone is still interested, yes, chaos golem enchant gives +5% dmg mitigation
34->39 is around 7% total more physical damage mitigation, which is far superior than 2-3% total dmg increase from ice golem damange enchant |
|
" Right, my bad... but technically speaking it isn't even an "update" since Elemenacer alreadey granted "20% incr. golem damage per summoned golem" in previous versions which has never been taken into account in PoB damage calculation. ;) Last edited by tomay on Oct 5, 2019, 11:28:00 AM

So, the price of the 2h-Maces are around 13ex. How much would it cost on average to craft one myself? (Yes, i know, it can be done with 1 fuse and 4 ex for mods, or with 200ex if unlucky)
How much Chaos do I need on average to get Life, Level of Socketed Minion Gems (at least +2) and supported by # Minion Life on a Helmet? It has Hatred reserves 15% reduced Mana, so I could use Hatred+Pride+Precision+Warbanner+Generosity+Enlighten in my Suit. Or is that a bad idea? | |
Well I will try to craft the Chaos golem helmet, never hit it while I already got 2x Ice Golem damage.
Or maybe will just skip it. I think I died more because of elemental damage mods. Last edited by cutiechuchu on Oct 5, 2019, 1:29:18 PM

Hi this is my first time playing this build. I'm just doing it for the lulz. How do I go about the passive tree? It's so spread all over idk which to take first for maximum efficiency. I know I'll only be able to use golem at level 34 or something. Which is the first jewel to buy? Thanks.

" It doesn't really mater where you go first, just focus more on your defenses early in the game but make sure you have plenty sockets nearby which you take later when you start stacking Primordial Jewels. Until then the sockets are useless. " Your first major purchase will be the Primordial Chain amulet for +3 golems. Then you want The Anima Stone for +1 golem. Anima Stone requires two more Primordial items to unlock yet another golem, so you add Primordial Harmony for that, the amulet counts as "primordial" and you will get another golem with that second jewel. Primordial Might is optional (no longer mandatory) as you can now use Feeding Frenzy Support with your Ice Golems to make them aggressive. So, if you're flush with currency you should have 2 x Clayshaper, Primordial Chain, The Anima Stone, at least 1 Primordial Harmony and two jewel sockets + Golem Commander in the skill tree by the time you hit lvl 34. With the first Labyrinth done you will be running with 10 Ice Golems which will carry you you a long way. At level 50 you want Necromantic Aegis in tree and equip Victario's Charity and get the 2nd Labyrinth done for another golem. Last edited by tomay on Oct 6, 2019, 7:57:16 AM

" 2H mace craft will cost you around 10-11 exalts on average (and around 2 hours I think). In my opinion "nearby enemies take 9% increased physical damage" is a very good mod for helmet, much more important than minion skills or minion life (minion skills only give you marginal buff to hp regen, which is not very helpful in deep delve according to what DeathAngel said). |
|
" Thanks for the reply. Strength doesn't seem to be the issue but i can't seem to find enough dex to equip ice golem... any help? |
|
" That's not exactly the case. Deep delve that deathAngel clearing is on the 900 or so. It's a bad idea to place that kind of place as standard. If your helmet don't have minion life and +3 gems, it basically halves the life of golems. It surely still totally fine in just general map clear, but can be bad in end game bosses. Also, your chaos golem will be capped at 4% base phys reduction, which will result in only 28% phys reduction instead of 36%. And that 9% "increased damage taken" also not exactly 9% MORE damage, cause we have 10-14% from maim, 16% from war banner and 42% from vulnerability, so it would be only about 5% MORE dammage by inclusion of this mod. Indeed, it's super powerful mod to grant so much damage just by just 1 affix space on support gear, but if you ask me if it worth half of life of support golems, and 8% additional phys reduction - i will say no for sure.
